Players reach the entrance to a natural cavern hundreds of feet above a glacier. Beginning at the entranceway and continuing some 300' into the cavern is a Forbiddance spell . The rogue attempts to enter the cavern and fails his one time saving throw. He sustains damage and is denied entry. The Cleric determines (through Detect Magic and a successful Spellcraft check upon an ongoing spell effect) that indeed, a Forbiddance spell is in place. The Sorcerer then casts Antimagic Field in order to suppress the effects of Forbiddance and the party moves into the cavern huddled around the Sorcerer. So far so good.
The party is walking on solid ice and the going is slow as the dwarf keeps falling down on the ice. After about 90' the floor begins a marked slope down. The party cannot see anything beyond 120' and does not know how far the slope goes down nor what's at the bottom. They decide to hammer a spike into the ice (a DM's dream in a cavern of solid ice and rock - can you say echo, echo, echo...) and tie off the rogue (same rogue that initially failed his save vs. Forbiddance) with 200' of rope. Also tied into the last 20' of the rope is a fighter. The rogue then steps outside of the Antimagic Field. Uh-oh!
When the rogue stepped out of the A.F. I propelled him straight back and out of the cavern and had him give me a Reflex save to avoid injuries upon his impact. I also allowed the spell to damage him again. Since the spell's description does not cover a scenario like this, I was merely curious to see how others may have handled this?
