Adv: A Night at the Opera; Judge TwoHeadsBarking

"I won't say a word." the Tiefling says arrogantly though strangely he nods his head up and down while he says so.

"As for Maros. Why don't you see for yourself?" The Tiefling motions back out toward the stage. A sly smirk crosses his lips.

Sheng said:
"Well, let's kill him, then we search the entire place. The warfoged must be somewhere. The tiefling is of no use to use, uncooperative as he is." he says pointing at the tiefling, shrugging. "I'll do it, it will be m pleasure." Sheng's hand start to glow green; however he waits for a general consensus.

-''Whoa, not so fast. Speaking for myself, I am not that kind of thug." says Hadrak firmly. Then he whispers to his comrades in a low voice that won't carry more than a few feet. "Beside, he just told us that Grabbag is indeed here and that someone is listening in to what is going on in this room. I'll move him. Meanhwile, someone with sharp eyes ought to search the stage."

Hadrak grabs the tiefling by the arm and pulls him toward the exit.

-"Come with me. I have good contacts withe guards and I'd dumping you in a nice damp cell." says Hadrak, winking to the tiefling.

As soon as he is at a reasonable distance from the stage he whispers to the tiefling: "I'm not really bluffing about the guards; I can make it happen. But give a more interesting lead and I'm letting you go to chase it. I'm a 'let's focus on the mission and the big fishes' kind of guy."

The tiefling looks uneasy at this, and opens his mouth searching for words, but none come out.

''Whoa, not so fast. Speaking for myself, I am not that kind of thug." says Hadrak firmly. Then he whispers to his comrade in a low voice that won't carry more than a few feet. "Beside, he just told us that Grabbag is indeed here and that someone is listening in to what is going on in this room. I'll move him. Meanwhile, someone with sharp eyes ought to search the stage."

Hadrak grabs the tiefling by the arm and pulls him toward the exit.

-"Come with me. I have good contacts withe guards and I'd dumping you in a nice damp cell." says Hadrak, winking to the tiefling.

The Tielfing breathes out in relief as the cleric takes over and tries to lead him out towards the audience before speaking. : "I'm not really bluffing about the guards; I can make it happen. But give a more interesting lead and I'm letting you go to chase it. I'm a 'let's focus on the mission and the big fishes' kind of guy."

"He's in the basement." The caster said as he crossed his arms confidently before him. "Go through the side door, stage right, and you'll find a trap door at the end of the hall."

"Ah..." gasps Sheng. Once Hardak is gone with the tiefling, he comments. "Luckily I have scared the rat enough for the dwarf to extract the needed information. Searchin all the building would require hours." the monk gets his hands to rest on his hips, and looks statisfied at the unconsious pile of foes around him. "A fair battle."

[sblock=ooc]Insight +11, If I sense no deception, go ahead.[/sblock]

True to his word, Hadrak lets the tiefling go. He then moves toward his allies, put a finger across his lips to demand silence. Too late.

-"Ah. Well. Remember the part where I said they were listening to us? Get moving!" He proceeds to lead the party, following the tiefling's instruction, running as fast as he can.

Sheng smiles at the dwarf pledging silence. If there was someone hearing them, they'll take care of the tiefling. He quietly follows Hadrak.

Rurdev helps Dane carry the bodies. He looks up at the statues nervously. Someone mentioned they were listening. The shifter looks to Incarnation. "Are they m-m-magical?" he asks, indicating the statues.

The ranger wraps the unconscious in the curtains, he which cuts down, making sure they can still breathe, and stacking them against the wall. He takes particular care of the female, brushing her hair from her face, and checking her wounds to make sure she wouldn't bleed out.

[sblock=everyone]Between the battle and the skill challenge you have reached a milestone.

I will give out xp and allow a pause for level ups if you take an extended rest at some point.[/sblock]

[sblock=Hadrak]Insight 25. The tiefling is telling the truth you believe but something seems off. He has alterior motives for sending you there.[/sblock]

Qynn searches for the others, still walking limp. He makes his way onto the stage.

[sblock=Sheng/Hadrak]I'll wait on making you're last back and forth cannon so Hadrak can act on his Insight.[/sblock]

Incarnation looks about the back of the stage behind the statues a moment before returning back with the others.

[sblock=Incarnation]The two set pieces seem to be made of a smoothed down plywood. There is nothing behind them, though the door in one does work.[/sblock]

[sblock=Rurdev]The theatre itself looks quite nice, with most of the seating and decor looking new or at least cleaned up. Copper accents, glimmer here and there, and stone carvings of people, and angels, line the area above the stage and some of the ceiling.

The two large statues on stage seem particularly well crafted. One depicts a hobgoblin, complete with chainmail, cape, sword, and shield. He has a very proud look about him. She stands with one hand his hilt, the other on his hip.

The other shows an older human male in flowing robes. He has a knowing look upon his brow, and keeps his hands clasped before him.

When you wrap the bodies are you doing so in a manner to secure them should they wake, or merely disguising their pressence?

What do you do with their stuff?[/sblock]

Incarnation feels the arcane forces for a moment to detect the presence of magic on the prisoners before joining Hadrak to go downstairs.
