Baern moves his limbs to snap out the arrows that struck him. He swings at both of the gnolls adjacent to him killing them both with strong slashes across the chest. He walks menacingly over towards two of the goblins, holding both axes up before him.
I can take out two at a time, Dalvach.

Nyar shouts over the ruckus,
"Dalvach, I'll blast that group to the north!" Pointing the the three goblins north of the stage.
The mage seems to limp more after the arrows slash into his skin. Nyar steps forward to have better range. Almost without thought, he makes a pulling motion with his hand. Dalvach's craghammer skids through the dirt until it is laying at his feet again. Tinder starts to smoke as Nyar gestures violently toward the goblin archers. Two fireballs explode on the arena floor.

Dalvach's freshly healed wounds open once more as blood spills forth. A cool breeze gently flutters around Dalvach as he musters himself for the next wave of attacks. The crowd goes silent to Dalvach as a white fog coalesces, much like the breaking of a wave on rocks, at the base of his neck and grows ever upwards. The noise of the crowd rolls back in all too soon. The old dwarf spits up a hunk of something soft and bloody and draws his crossbow up to aim at one of the goblins. He looses a bolt that goes wide, pinging off the north wall some 30 feet up.

Three of the goblins drop their bows and charge the approaching ranger, with daggers drawn. The dwarf manages a masterful parry in the center of the attack but takes two minor hits in the process.
The rest of the goblins fire another hail of arrows, though their precision seems more doubtful now that the party is not clumped together.
