Adv: Rhapsody; Judge: renau1g

Are you sure, why don't you check your person, wizards have wandering hands like halflings. Veruza taps her pockets with one hand as if she's checking for vials, the overly large sword resting in her other hand clinks as the tip hits the ground. Giving up the short search she shrugs as if to say she couldn't find a vial, and readies her sword again.

"Of course I would have remembered if I had taken the Rhapsody, I would have put it right here inside my robe..."

*clink* He lifts one of the Rhapsody potion bottles from his inside pocket

"...like this bottle right here."

Nyar puts it back inside his robe, "I guess I forgot in all the commotion..."

[sblock=ooc] KD, thanks for letting us retcon getting the documents from Dalvach when he left [/sblock]

Well if it's any consolation, it worked in our favor this time... She looks at Nyar for a long moment, How many of those do you have? If more than one, we should split them up, just in case you get captured. Keeping as much evidence as possible is important, we're going to have to explain ourselves eventually.

Checking the hallway outside the room, Baern sees what appears to be not so much a secret door as a concealed door directly outside the room and on the wall across the hall. Easy enough to see if you know what you are looking for or know that it is there, but very easy to not notice at all if you aren't looking for it.

Are you guys done looking around? Veruza continues to look around feeling uncomfortable, Which way to the prisoners guys, the faster we get them, the faster we get out.

I know you are impatient, and I am eager to free the injustly imprisoned, but perhaps we can find answers and a safer way in this way. Baern opens the hidden door and moves stealthily inside ahead of the others.

The age is turning every moment, patience is for those who can afford it, Veruza retorts. Enjoy setting whatever traps are behind that door off, She seems astounded that anyone would walk into a secret area without even a cursory glance for traps. The cleric backs up a few steps as Baern begins handling the secret door. We know these people are devious already, be careful.

Baern sees a lit corridor heading directly away from him beyond the door. It's lit with everburning torches on the walls. It continues on for about 50 feet before it makes about a 45 degree turn to the right. There are no doors visible in this corridor.

"Let me in first. Traps can do little damage to me, but I'm not as eroded by previous fight as you are."
Cairn goes in with little subtlety, but connected to the house through earthen roots.
