Cairn enters into the tavern, looks over all the patrons and stations himself between the door and the window standing next to the wall. He mostly ignores the rest.

Pitcher of whatever you drink, for the table. says Veruza, afterward taking a long slow breath. Ok, five minutes of planning could have prevented that. Dhon is a step ahead of us, we need to do something he won't expect.

The kalashtar closes her eyes, Audrey would know, what would Audrey do? moments pass.

[sblock=Flashback]

Trickling water flows slowly, burbling, bubbling along the brook. Two young girls, splash along the creek, wading calf deep into the cold waters.

Each carries fishing equipment, nets and lines. They giggle and splash, as the pair attempts to capture the largest fish as they dart by. The powerful large fish prove to fast, easily evading the nets.

Veruza gives up, quickly attempting to cast her line instead. A large fish swims to the hook, and passes it without a glance. We'll never catch dinner!

Audrey smiled, and cast her net at a school of smaller fish, catching only two. We can't eat those! cried Veruza.

We use the smaller fish, to catch the bigger fish! Audrey exclaimed in joy, hooking the small fish onto the lines.

Thirty minutes later, both lines had large fish hanging from them. The girls transferred them into their nets, and made quickly to their parents.

Small fish. Hardened eyes flash open. Let's go find Gurg. He'll lead us to Dhon, or more specifically, lead Dhon to us.

"Smart lady your sister. The only problem is how do we get near the Battle Pitt now? How do we get past the city guards. They'll be looking for us for sure."

He gestures over his shoulder at Cairn *Some of us stand out in a crowd.*

Dhon obviously has some sort of decent sized organization here. There has to be someone willing to double cross the guy. As for the guards, they'll forget us soon enough, unless their on Dhon's payroll. Veruza points out the door, They'll be caught up with other things soon enough, we're small fish in this city. That is our biggest advantage, we're small fish. nodding to Baern, Let's ask around, there has to be someone that either wants Dhon as bad as us, or can tell us how to find Gurg.

In response to Baern's queries in Mudds Suds, nobody seems to know Gurg. The group has, however, run quite a few blocks away from where Gurg was last known to hang out, so it's not unreasonable for nobody here to know of him.

"I'm going to propose this just so we know our options: We could go to the SkyNest, or whatever its called, and let things cool off down here."

He takes a drink of ale.

"That said, the guard would not expect anyone in their right mild to go back where they just ran away from. As we are clearly not in our right mind, we could go straight into the Battle Pitt and try to find Dhon there. I'm good either way."

OOC: I'm good with whatever, we could stealth or bluff our way if we see any guards coming, or many be could try streetwise at the Inkwell.

"Ask people of the street then you go ask in the sky." ponderous thoughts are shared from the stone guardian
