Adv: Rhapsody; Judge: renau1g

OOC:
One question for KD though, when does the falling six (30 feet) happen? If I make a Storm Pillar ten feet below a kenku and it falls during its turn, will it move three times next to the pillar on its fall (and take three movement squares of damage)?

OOC: No.
In the third sentence of the Effect line, add “on its turn” after “adjacent to the pillar.” The intent is that the pillar provides a controlling effect on the battlefield, and this prevents it from being used in conjunction with forced movement to deal a disproportionate amount of damage.

Cairn continues his focus on the held kenku, attempting to fully neutralize at least one opponent.

"Hurry up, we're falling! Don't push them away, we have limited mobility and getting them far away doesn't help. Put them adjacent to me if you can." is that trace of panic in the earth creature?

OOC: Remember, no OOC tactical discussions. The Kenku hear Cairn ask for this (not that it matters much in this case).

Grrrr, growls Baern beastily as he strikes at the Kenku in his grasp with his handaxe.

Nyar looks at the bird man and just points down. The kenku follows his pointing finger just in time to see a flock of birds come shooting up and dive and peck at him. Besides being painful, he is distracted by the swarm as Nyar drifts away.

"Friends of a feather..." smiles Nyar, not likely heard over the rushing wind.

Narvala fires a bolt of divine energy at Kenku 1, which strikes it and pulls it in between her allies.

Kenku 1 rights itself and tries to escape Baern, but is unsuccessful. Kenku 2 shakes off the debilitating effects. Kenku 3 dives down on Narvala and stabs her in the thigh.

[sblock=OOC]

It's the PCs turn.

Everyone falls 6 squares straight down during their turn. The PCs won't actually move on the background (ScorpiusRisk had some type of rolling background planned, but I suck too much at graphics to even attempt it). In other words, Baern is on square G11. If he decides to not make any of the special movements next round, he'll fall 6 squares, but still be on square G11 next round (so that he stays in the middle of the map).

This falling does not take up any movement actions. Shifting is not allowed. Normal movement is not allowed. Running is not allowed. The PCs are falling.

Once a turn, as a minor action, a PC can direct their fall in ONE of the following ways:

1. Fall diagonally for up to three squares out of the six (this is equivalent to moving 3 squares to the right or left max, and/or moving forward or backwards 3 squares).
2. Fall an additional 2 squares (for example, moving from the G row to the H or I row)
3. Fall 2 squares less (for example, moving from the G row to the E or F row).

Narvala tries to fall away from the Kenku that struck her, and then calls on the Flame to strike the Kenku she'd positioned between her allies again. In the strange environment and without her staff, her targeting is off.[sblock=actions]minor: Okay, if I'm reading the 'fall diagonally 3 squares' option right now, Narvala can move to K15, so she'll do that.

Sorry about that; Narvala doesn't know the rest of you all that well, and without her armor and her staff of defense (despite some poor writing on my part, she doesn't have it) she doesn't want any bad guys closer to her than she can manage.

She doesn't know us, true, but she's smart and killing kenku fast should be clear priority. I'll put something IC.

Scorpius, KarinsDad is good DM, I asked simply because it's your adventure and he may have his own to run.

[MENTION=2011]KarinsDad[/MENTION], did you apply extra damage from 'standing up' on Kenku 1?

Cairn growls, the sound carrying even through the whistling winds
"Don't push them away. We need to get rid of them before rejoining Ebberon. Get them close to me."

Baern brings his axe back and swings it at the kenku in his grasp. I'd be better with two weapons if you could grab this one Cairn!

OOC: I feel like we should be shouting in the rush of air!
Standard: MBA on Kenku 1
Other actions pending results of that attack

Hmm, at least 110 hp, I hope we have about 10+ rounds to kill all 3 :P

KarinsDad, two questions, first did I hit because it will affect the rest of my turn. Second, since the movement rules are different, what is the rule of "moving with a grabbed enemy"? Would it be a minor action too or standard?

[sblock=ooc] Thanks for clarifying KD [/sblock]

Nyar watches the kenku dive down at Narvala, which she then falls away. It allows Nyar to open up his favorite attack.

Tinder warms in his hand and a small fireball briefly engulfs the kenku. Nyar then drifts further away from the melee.

OOC: Baern misses. And, Baern cannot move with a grabbed enemy since he has nothing to push against.

And, I forgot that the stand up damage was until the end of the encounter, so I'll put that in.
