Adequate, but nothing special.

Claudo's art is not bad, but he's unfortunately not up to WotC standards at this point.

I don't like to compare art from multiple artists too closely. Each has their own unique style they bring to the finished product. While I'm a huge fan of Michael Komarck's work, I surely wouldn't want to flip through my RPG library and see every illustration in that hyper-realistic style.

I like it Claudio. I'm not planning on buying the book (I am not going 4E), but I might just because you did the art. Combined with the fact I am sure I will like the ideas Ari puts in the book, I may get enough use out of it to be worth buying.

Claudio, was that piece inspired by a Caldwell piece for Deathgate? I forget the title of the picture, but it reminds me of it quite a bit.

Nice cover!

It's the second time someone mention Deathgate, but I have actually never seen those. But since I started gaming in 87, Caldwell and the rest of the TSR Fab Four were definitely a part of my earliest exposure to fantasy art. If anything, I reckon there's something of Caldwell's Dragons of... Mistery, I guess? (the Onyx one)

I can only see faint resemblance.
