Crack!
As Radaga's body falls to the floor, an evil smelling black vapor begins to boil forth from the crown in Jax's bag. It sweeps across the ground and enters the body of the slain priestess. Gradually the flesh begins to run like water and shift like clay in the hands of a sculptor. You try to move, but some evil force seems to be holding you in place.
Jax opens his bag and takes out the crown. He sees that it is now radiating a pure white glow. The gemstones set into it have changed color and are now a deep azure blue. In its presence party no longer feels the oppressive evil of the crown clawing at their souls.
Slowly, Radaga's body begins to rise. It has now taken the form of a man, but it is clearly undead. There is a cold red light burning in each eye and a feeling of absolute evil pours forth from her to fill the chamber. Even the radiance of the crown is smothered by this tide of darkness
The cruel mouth of the man cracks open and it begins to speak. The voice that issues forth is a cold and evil hiss.
Thank you for slaying my granddaughter of many generations. With her death, I have become powerful enough to escape that accursed prison of a crown and return to the land of the living.
Behold! Daglan, Warlock of Death stands before you! Suddenly he flies away from the party and lands near the altar. He weaves his hands in the air and a dark shadow of arcane energy appears, hovering over Jax. With a muttered incantation there is a blast of evil energy centered where he once stood. Jax and Sir ExSixTen resist his power but Andras is affected. Its dark tendrils grasp at his legs, binding him in place. Next he fire two eldrich bolts, one at Jax and one at Sir ExSixTen. Jax deftly leaps aside, but the Warforged is not so lucky.
Seeing an opening the Dracolich bites down upon Sir ExSixTen with its massive jaws and the skeletons continue their attack, the one near Dorn managing to slice into him with his blade.
