GM: Sir ExSixTen was stunned EONT Dracolich, so Daglan took rain of steel damage last round.

"Great, good for you! Why are you attacking us then?"
Oh I can't let anyone know that I have finally been freed. Daglan muses. Soon all shall know of course, but today is too soon. But do not fear! For your reward for freeing me shall be a swift and painless death! With that he raises his hands up in the air and iron meteors rain down from the sky. They hit Jax and Sir ExSixTen, stunning them. He then strolls over to the far side of the room and fires two eldrich blasts at them, both hitting their targets.

The other minions are not so lucky. The Dracolich tries to gnaw on the Warforged, but the arrow in its head from Brenn muddles its vision. One skeleton fires an arrow at Quagmire hitting him. The other charges Quagmire, but misses thanks to the defenses spell cast on him.

As Daglan casts his bolts, Andras shouts, "Knight! Look out!" Confused, Sir Exsixten twists as he turns to face the genasi, causing the attack to go wide.

Andras then looks to roughly where the invisible Jax stands. "Quickly, little one, attack while it still can't see you." There is a blur of movement and the repeated sound of metal on bone as large chunks of the dracolich are torn out by invisible strikes. The undead creature lashes out futilely at it's attacker as it begins to crumble and fall apart. Andras steps back in shock, "Whoa, good job Jax."

[sblock=Actions]Immediate Interrupt: When Sir Exsixten is hit by the Eldritch Blast, I'll use Insightful Warning to increase his Reflex to 22, causing the attack to miss.

Standard: Warlord's Recovery. Jax can use one spent encounter attack power. In this case, Imperiling Strike, against the dracolich, and even though he's dazed and can't flank, he's still invisible and gets CA. So, that's a 20. First of all, Imperiling Strike does 18+28+5+12=63 cold damage, and the dracolich takes a -4 penalty to AC and Reflex until the end of Jax's next turn. This triggers the dracolich's reaction, which misses with a 22 vs AC. Then Jax makes a melee basic attack against the dracolich, hitting AC 31 for 18 cold damage. So, 81 damage to the dracolich.

Oh, and since all my attack powers are expended, I regain the use of one of them, in this case On My Mark.

Move: Shift to R35, gain +1 to AC and Reflex until the end of my next turn.

Remember, the dracolich's penalty to defenses lasts until the end of Jax's upcoming turn. Also, it only has 23 hp left, and it can't make it's reaction attack again.[/sblock]

Seeing Jax's handiwork, Quagmire redoubles his efforts to foul the dracolich's defenses, and is rewarded when another dagger blow from Jax lands. The skeletal figure drops to the floor with a crash as the necrotic force that had been animating it expires. "Why d'they always think that a swift death is an appropriate reward?" he asks of no one in particular, already turning to the next foe. "A few measly chests of gold, one or two powerful artifacts, and they could just be on their way. But nooooo, stupid villains always have to pick fights with us instead. Don't they read?"

[sblock=actions]Minor: inspiring word on Jax: heals 37 hp and grants a saving throw, which fails. :( Dang.
Standard: Commander's strike; Jax gets an MBA on the dracolich: 36 vs. AC hits for 39 damage, and the dracolich dies.

Dorn can't help but laugh a bit at Quagmire's observation.

The color of Dorn's shroud darkens slightly as it takes on a protective quality (minor - sustain shroud. minor - use variable resistance to change wild soul to necrotic for the encounter). He raises both daggers, and from inside the darkness two bolts of radiant energy emerge, destroying a skeleton and sending Daglan to the ground (Moon and Stars kill skeleton 2, CRITS Daglan (19 crit again - woot). Daglan takes 35 radiant damage, ongoing 10 damage (save ends), and is knocked prone. Since Dorn hit he gets to spend a surge to heal to full.)

OOC: Awesome! Warlords get Weapon Proficiency: Rogue as a bonus feat.

"Why is the world spinning around..." Jax mutters as recovers from being hit with a meteor. He wonders if perhaps one of the gods is punishing him for slaying a mighty dragon. That would explain where the meteor came from... In any case, there's still a battle to win, so he doesn't think about it for long.

A faint patter of kobold steps can be heard as Jax moves unseen to flank the warlock. He's able to make a hobbling slash across Daglan's knee before his invisibility finally wears off.

[sblock=Jax actions / stats]Standard: Running Slash, moving to P22 without provoking an OA. Jax's speed is 9 (7 not bloodied + 2 from the buff), so he just barely makes it there. Jax still has CA from invisible. Attack vs Daglan hits Reflex 32 for 39 cold damage, Daglan is slowed TENT Jax, and he has vulnerability 5 to cold TENT Jax. (1d20+19+3=32; 1d4+13+2+2=21 ;3d8+4=18)

End of turn: Jax becomes visible.
