"I cannot?" Roswyn answers at once. "Maybe not. But there are others here..." She looks over at Shava, then glances quickly at Tondrek.

Oh no you don't. Shava thinks and she hurls another bolt of lightning at the dragon. It sizzles at the dragon's feet, blackening them and sends it back a few feet, keeping Roswyn at bay for now.

"I cannot?" Roswyn answers at once. "Maybe not. But there are others here..." She looks over at Shava, then glances quickly at Tondrek.

"Fools," the dragon rasps, it's legs sagging, and head dipping barely above the floor. "All of you will fail, you meddle in plans you can't even begin to understand" As quickly as they appeared, the swarm of insects disperses. Flying towards the walls of the room, their bodies glowing, they seem to form strange patterns in the air and walls. Abruptly, the insects fall to the ground, black and lifeless. "Let's finish this, this is my part I suppose." The dragon bares it's fangs, acid dripping from it's tongue, unwilling to go down yet.

OOC: Map update matters little at this point. Nobody is adjacient to take damage, both Tondrek and Roswyn are up.

Dropping his crossbow and taking out his staff, he stepped up next to the beast and began striking at it wildly. Thats for Pokey! And Doggie! And Crafty! And Story Halfma-Elf! And ME! The dragon knocks away Tondrek's clumsy attempt to strike with it's claw, but then slashes at the artificer as it goes on the offensive. Standing on it's hind legs, the first claw draws blood across the half-orc's chest. It's weight can no longer hold it on it's injured leg though, and the second claw is nowwhere close to Tondrek.
