OOC: I don't believe Theroc is active at the moment. So we just need Euphie and Filo to post actions for Round 1 before continuing.

The moment Elec's amulet absorbed the attack, it also began to glow and cover him with a red aura.

The red orbs from Euphie's sword begin to glow red and spark as she takes a swing at the orc that had charged her. Cairn's weapon begins to glow red at the same time. She then deftly slips past him and the rubble to give Cairn room to attack with his long weapon. "You'll find running up here was a bad idea."

The usually loquacious Filo went deathly silent. A veteran of the Last War he knew threats at this point were meaningless to their attackers. Blood had been drawn and no quarter would be given. He drew the scimitar from his back with an almost melodic shiiing and quickly ducked to the side. Thrusting his weapon forward, Filo angled his curved blade inbetween the nearby orc's legs and drew it backwards sharply hoping to sever a large artery his medical training told him was in the inner thigh.

[sblock= OOC:]
Minor: Draw Songblade
Move: Shift to H12
Standard: warsong strike vs orc2 (1d20+11=23, 1d8+5=13) Hits ac 23 for 13 damage and any ally who hits the target before the end of Filo's next turn gains 2 temporary hit points.[/sblock]

An arrow careening towards his visage, Elec-Squall threw up an arm, and seemingly the shaft pierced his appendage! Flashing with power at the last moment his brooch swallowed up the offending projectile in reality.

The throbbing pain in his leg however, was proof positive they could swing a club!

Throwing his arm down, Elec-Squall unholstered one of his wands, limping back out of attacking range of his adversaries. Maneuvering behind Shanairra, sparks followed his footsteps, Please stay still Shanairra. Calmly asked the lightning wizard. Raising the unholstered wand it flashed with power, a bolt of lightning slammed into the Longtooth Shifters chest, and staggered him.

The wizard lost no time, closing his hands around Shanairra's ears, a thunderous BOOM sounded! The force of the thunderous wave rolled over the Longtooth Shifter and his Half-Orc Ally.

Dropping his hands from the sides of Shanairra's head, Elec-Squall made several instantaneous gestures, and the thunder forced itself on the wizards enemies, throwing them out of step and into the open!

Finishing the quick casting, the wand pulsed with power, Elec-Squall pointed it at the two targets of thunderous wrath, and small blue orbs coalesced at the feet of the Longtooth Shifter and Half-Orc. Enjoying the practice, but I advise you stand down.

Heeding her cousins advice, Shannairra freezes in place and watches Elec unleash a barrage of energy at the attackers. She raises her dagger and focuses on the Shifter who Elec already started on and lets loose a blast of eldritch energy, but it seems to fizzle before reaching her foe.

[sblock=ooc]Delay to after Elec.

"Euphie, I attack them all, move to protect Edward!"

Using his superior height and reach, Cairn makes overhead chop and slams it near half-orc threatening Euphie to the ground. Unfortunately, it seems there is still to much worked stone for it to obey Cairn and his weapon fails to slam into the enemy.

[sblock=ooc]Earthgrasp Strike (1d20+9=15, 1d10+5=9, 1d10+5=6) Miss[/sblock]

Stasi spins to attack the orc who struck her, rage showing in her eyes.

"A stick, you brought a stick! You guys like ganging up, are you sure that's the best plan?" Her ferocity takes the enemy from this world.

Thrusting his weapon forward, Filo angled his curved blade inbetween the nearby orc's legs and drew it backwards sharply hoping to sever a large artery his medical training told him was in the inner thigh. The artery is cut deeper than expected and the orc soon falls and blacks out.

The Shifter's strike out hard in retaliation, determined to take their prey. One strikes again at Stasi, while the other side steps around the floating ball of Thunder and comes back up at Elec from the other side, slicing furiously.

The half-orc with the bow tries to take advantage but is far off his mark. The one battling Eupie is more lucky and slips an ax chop past her defenses.

The orc Stasi battered down explodes in a burst of lighting and takes the orc next to it as well.

The remaining orc slams the earth giant with his club.

THE MAP

Note: Dark Ruins are quite big, and provide full cover without trying. The light colored ruins, ie the thin wall in the lower right and the fallen column, provide partial cover or full cover if you croutch. Except for Filo, he gains full cover from the light colored rubble as well.

Squares containing two or three small thingies, represent light rubble. These can be moved through, but count as difficult terrain.

Unholstering his other wand, the d'Lyrandar wizard attempts to push even more performance out of the thunder, but the energy is too low. He limps back another step, readying to unleash Fury.

Try to corral them for a big hit, Lots of them, and few of us, in a 25 foot area. I'm going to call down lightning and Fury. Gesturing carefully Elec-Squall begins speaking with the elements.

[sblock=OOC]

Corrections;
Thunderballs at N5, and M8, they are conjured in the same space as the target, if the target moves out of the Thunderballs square the attack happens.
Elec-Squall at 19 HP.
Thank you for rolling my save!

Turn:

Minor Draw Thunder Wand +1

Standard Thunder Wave on Longtooth Shifter 2 9 vs Fort, for 16 thunder damage and push to M13

Move shift to I10

(Thunderballs expire)

I'd like to drop an area burst 2 in the next round or so, just so everyone is aware. Don't go out of your way or anything, but I'm loathe to target party members with this one...

OOC: Can I move into thunderball square?

EDIT: Ninja'd and in positive way, now I can shift without worrying about lightning :) I can only group them near euphie and stasi...so:

EDIT2: Elec, blast takes N x N squares area that is adjacent to my square so you couldn't move in such way to block off Cairn from using this power. I'll be more precise in the future. If you want half orc further away specify any square 'north' of G7 withing two squares of it

IC:
Cairn growls something which sounds like chalk grating over schoolboard and claws on metal at the same time.

He carefully takes position next to Filo gauging the distance to Euphie and strikes at half orc threatening Euphie over the head of smaller orc. The weapon slams into half orc with terrific boom and from Cairns feet earth forms into ram-like shape and rushes into orc and half orc pushing them away .

Total damage: 21 to half orc 1 (F9), 8 to orc 3 (G10)

Push primary target 4 squares, secondary 1 square. I choose to put half orc at G7 (and can go further if Elecgreystone wants it not adjacent. Orc remains where he is (and I assume he's dead anyway

[sblock= Cairn's push]there is no difference between Euphie's ranged and melee attacks, so push where ever you want to.

And a good time for a +3 damage! :) [/sblock]
[sblock= Cairn's edit 2]I knew I couldn't stop you from using the power but I didn't know if there was a square you wanted to use it from. I didn't want to mess up your tactics by blocking your move[/sblock]
[sblock= Healing]I'll be healing Elec this round unless someone is planning on doing something that'll get them damaged a lot. [/sblock]
