Devinihm, wilden druid

At Max's urging, the scattering of insects seems to find its energy again, slowly multiplying. Realizing the danger of the electrified field it's in as well as the larger swarm of his doppelganger, Devinihm's swarm scuttles sideways.

Easily ducking out of the reach of Devinihm's twin, Mab tosses her best-balanced knife at the still-blinded clone of Max. It looks for a moment as though the blade will miss, but through a twist of luck, or the intervention of some unseen force, the blade rights it's course and neatly bisects the warlord's jugular, before returning to the wily old crone.

To Mab's astonishment though, the mirror creature remains standing after what she thought would surely be a mortal blow. Ducking into hiding behind one of the unsavory torture contraptions, Mab whispers, "Luran grant me your wisdom (for real this time please!). Our strength is waning against such strong foes," as she searches for a way to get a leg up against the mirror clones.

Dante reacts instantly to Max's call, burying two Kama into the dark version of Devinihm. With a series of gestures, they fly back into his hands. The second they touch, he spins, throws, and one buries in the forehead of the distant form of evil Max.

As it too falls, he pulls out a small tincture and drinks it, his wounds healing somewhat.

OOC: jkason (not pacdidj) I think according to Mal's rules your turn can only be the death save, however, I have considered a modification where initiative is used to decide SO max goes before you and your turn can stand.
Iron Sky evil Devinihm takes half damage from attacks so I think he has 12 hp left. My mistake omitting it last status post, you can put the crit on him instead of Evil Max if you want.

OOC: Okay, since Evil Devinihm expired during Dante's turn, the only Auntie Mab and Max were affected by its Aura. They both take 5 psychic damage and I will slide them up to 2 squares on the map. Actually can slide Max into the Zone, so I think he takes 10 thunder/lightning damage (let me know if I am wrong)

Just waiting on nerdytenor to take Jonathan's turn.

Sorry about the mixup. I knew "Mal rules" meant post-order, but I think I misunderstood this post as an addendum, where you suggested we could edit in actions we hadn't taken yet in a round so long as the NPC's hadn't acted yet. I figured Devinihm hadn't taken any of his actions before Max healed him, so I filled 'em in. :) Thanks much for the leeway. :)
 


Mab is pulled out of her hiding place, but due to years of practice blending in (mostly to pilfer fruit vendors' carts), she is able to avoid the notice of the mirror clones, hiding, as it were, in plain sight.

Mab dealt 17 damage to eMax on her turn, so if Dante's hit versus eDevinihm still counts as a hit vs. eMax, he would be dead. Too bad we didn't post in reverse order, otherwise there would be no question, as the CA from blindness would still apply.
