(Sorry about the delay)

Surprise Round:

Silvercat launches two daggers into the backside of the drow with the longsword while Devlin levels his sight and takes a shot.

Silvercat: 18 and 18 to hit against flatfooted armor class, 7 and 10 damage...

Devlin: 19 to hit against flatfooted armor class, 3 damage...

The combined strikes cripple the drow as he falls face first onto the ground near the wounded ogre...

Gur runs forwards to attempt to treat Jef's wounds, 19 rolled on heal check. Jef is now stabilized, two dead drow and one severely injured (the one which Silvercat and Devlin took down) lay on the ground in this main chamber.

Shariff looking a bit miffed that the Drow went down so easily starts looting the bodies of the fallen drow. Maybe we should interogate the breathing one?

Drawing his Rapier and Poignard, Silvercat moves forward cautiously, keeping his eyes and ears keen for more Yrtchen*. From his dealings with the Dark Elves back in his home city, Silvercat knew that they rarely travelled in so small a group...

* Elven:Betrayers

The elves each were armed with no more than studded leather armor, 2 rations each, a longsword, 2 daggers, clothing, longbows, and 20 arrows each.

3 studded leather armor worn by the drow, 1 pierced thrice, the other two in normal condition.
6 drow rations consisting of grubs and some sort of ground up insects stored in a chitinous bowl and then covered with some sort of tissue, perhaps a bladder
3 drow longswords
3 longbows
20 arrows

Gur analyzes Jef's injuries, "He's wounded from poison, not the actual blades. Looks like it was just the final cut that brought him down to the ground, but we should do something to prevent the poison from setting in. Anyone got anything like that?"

After he has his answers, he'll ask if the group wants to stabilize the wounded drow before he succumbs to his injuries.

Edit: Question for the players, am I using Gur too much, too little? I just made the assumption that since he has a +9 to heal checks, he'd be the optimal choice to do the above.

Devlin

Unable to fully utilize any of the drow weapons, Devlin takes pen & parchment and begins making notes on his first impressions of the Underworld Elves.

"Sorry, Gur. I have nothing that would be of any use against poisons."

OOC: I have no problem with you using Gur as the healer, seems he's the best suited for it currently.

OoC:My connection has been down all day, sorry all... I am OK with Gur, CS.

IC

Silvercat, going through the gear, takes a longbow and quiver of arrows.
Keeping near Gur, so as to provide defense while he works on Jef, the Elf stays quiet, as he knows the Yrthcen have ears far better acclimated to the Underground than his own.

"Jef's in trouble then... damn giant dwarf, I thought he went the other way? The poison could kill him, I'm going to try my best to help him, but he has less than a minute left..."

Sullivan looks around a bit, trying to avoid looking at the fallen ogre. He touches one of his satchels a few times while thinking before he nervously announces, "The cave elves are supposed to be nowhere near this place. This does not bode well if they are sending scouting or hunting parties into the tunnels this close to the surface..."

The arrows appear to be of drow weapons stock, which some of you know may be enchanted or envenomed. Any venom on the blades has been worn off into the Ogre's gut.

Silvercat, you can tell that the longbow you have picked up is marked with a rune of ownership. Not of the bow, but of the person weilding the bow. It reads, "Matriarch Narsicsys".

Perplexed at the name, which he does not recognize, Silvercat muses as to what these lowly Yrtchen were doing with some matron's weapon.
Matron was a Yrtchen Title of some means, so this must be the weapon of a Ranking Dark Elf.

Looking glumly at the fallen Ogre, Silvercat frowns deeply. He was not the sort that got attached to his companions, other than to support them as a unit, but the big fellow had brought amusement to Silvercat's manner, with his obvious and unsubtle handling of the old man (who was not someone that the Elf trusted...) and his friendly demeanor. Truth be known, Silvercat judged people on their individual nature, and Jef seemed odd for one of his folk; the only other Ogre that Silvercat had ever seen was a mercinary berserker who had been trying to smash through a line of House Rentreme Militia during an attack by House Quellim.
