(Adventure) Heroes of The Vesper Peaks (Uriel judging)

"I am all for it. How glorious a tale this will be. Lydia is right, we should enter by stealth. Once inside, we probalbly will be able to move about unhindered, because they will think that no one gets in that doesn't belong, so we must belong. Do you follow me?" A mischievous smile creeps across Jairik's face. "and if it all goes wrong, or it is indeed a trap, think of the fun we will have fighting our way out of trouble."

"Perhaps the quieter method would serve us best this time. I would much prefer to just walk in with the blessings of the foreman and the guild but I doubt that will come at such an easy cost as we've been offered, and probably, if it did come at all, would be at a cost that many of us would much regret." Kunst taps his staff against the ground once, "And since four of us have already been paid for, perhaps it would be best for us to consider the offer in good regards, so we don't short the poor bard of some hard-earned crowns."

"I am also curious to hear from you Kreepto, can Lydia be trusted? Have you had dealings with her in the past? Perhaps we should retire to the in for the evening. It would give us a slightly more private place to talk. We must discover where our strengths lie, and how best to approach this endeavour. And I think more wine is in order, too." Jairik looks around the crowd for any glimpse of consent from the others.

"Kreepto knows the way into the mines. Kreepto has been in the mines many times. Kreepto has been in the mines since the man-fort was started, but Kreepto was youngest then."

"Lydia is Kreepto's friend. Lydia helped Kreepto when some man-children threw stones at Kreepto. Kreepto isn't welcome in the inn... not that inn..."

Wogar speaks:

"Enough talk! Debate is for politicians! Are we not men of action? We must decide now, while the accountant's wheels are greased with wine! Squabble if you will, I will take the first step into the dark."

And with that, Wogar pays Lydia's fare.

Vanadan also pays for the fare.

He feels somewhat symphaty to the kobold since their mutual history. Then he punishes himself quietly in his mind. The feeling passes. Symphaty is for those who fail in the end. True power is gained at the expense of others, the weak.

ooc: I'll update my character sheet.

Nace grins at Wogar's 'speech' and produces his own share of the fee. "Indeed, I think it's a good idea. And Jairik has the right of it; a roof, and cool wine to go with it."

"If Kreepto isn't welcome in that inn, maybe we should find another instead? If there really is anything more to discuss, that is." Jagos turns to Kreepto: "Will you travel with us tomorrow or can you still get into the mines openly?"

OOC: Who is everyone giving money to? Kreepto? Or are we just unsynchronised and you gave it to Lydia before she left?
