(Adventure) Heroes of The Vesper Peaks (Uriel judging)

Jairik notes to himself that four have already pledged to pay their way, and is Perversely delighted that he may make his way to the encampment on Nertle's coin. He makes a mental note to himself to be sure to buy the first round of drinks when they get to the inn.

"A finer speech I could not have made myself, Wogar. I am commited to this task, and am glad to be sharing the road with all of you." Jairik gives a look to Kreepto and says, "If you do not have any objections, I may be able to get you into the inn with a little subterfuge and some of my magic. For you should also have a good nights sleep, in a comfortable place, so that your senses will be at their best tomorrow."

Jaret shrugs and says, Maybe I'm just being too cautious. This seems like a good chance to see something interesting. I'm in. Jaret waits for Kunst before heading off to the inn.

OOC: Jaret pays 5 gold to the appropriate person.

"It's settled then, let us retire to the inn, and we shall begin in the morning" with a chuckle he continues on to the inn for a night of rest, chatting idly with Jaret as they make their way.

Assuming everyone is on-board at this point!

The inn you enter is a large building, and the interior looks to be stone even though the exterior to the building is overlayed with heavy clay. Inside you find a very quiet and rather putrid smelling place with only a handful of customers. On the sign above the innkeepers rocking chair it reads, "No Magic, No Pets."

The innkeeper is a tiny little man, human, but small enough to be a thin dwarf. He has a big white mustache and seems to be covered from head to toe in his pajamas. The greyhaired fellow has a cat in his lap, and when he notices the incoming crowd he plucks the cat up in both hands and puts it down on the floor.

"How many of you are there? I've got six rooms, all of them are empty. The rest of the rooms are on permanent free rental by the guild."

Jairik says to the others, "I will be willing to bunk with another. If we all double up we should only need four rooms, no sense in spending more coin than is necessary."

OOC: Is Kreepto still with us? If he is, I tell him before we enter to stay behind the half-orcs so as not to be easily seen.

Nace nods to the innkeeper, then looks to the others. "I don't mind bunking in with someone else, either. I don't snore," he quips with a slight smile.

"Yeah. Fine by me" Jagos responds to the idea of sharing rooms, still seeming somewhat depressed since agreeing to the plan.
