(Adventure) Heroes of The Vesper Peaks (Uriel judging)

Jairik gives a slight shrug, looks at the others, and starts to get into the wagon.

"If I had thought this out, I would have popped for everyone to get a bath, too. Everyone get comfortable, I imagine we are in for a bumpy ride." With that Jairik disappears into the bottom of the wagon.

Jagos seems much more enthusiastic about the idea this day, and even more so after seeing that Lydia has done more in the way of preparations than he expected.

Jagos smiles at Lydia, says a simple "Thank you", and gives her a respectfull nod before giving her his share of the cost.

He climbs into the wagon, sets his backpack down next to him, and tries to do as Jairik suggested.

Grog silently hands Lydia his share of the gold
and climbs up into the wagon. He also pulls
out his dagger in case something goes wrong.
He thinks he will be able to wield it in the cramped
conditions.

"Do they use these wagons to transfer gems back to town?" gray elf asks from Lydia. Maybe I could steal one of these wagons when it's full of gems. He looks the group around him. I'll propably need some help though... Maybe that half-orc could help me. He seems to be the right type for my purposes, he thinks gazing Wogar.

Vanadan climbs silently into the wagon - as far as he can get from the two orcs.

ooc: Vanadan needs approval

Nace nods to Lydia and gives the woman a smile. "Thank you for your aid in this," the youth says, "And I will not talk." He slides into position beneath the false covering. He's compact, and is used to rough travel, so he tries to get into position that'll afford him some comfort at least. Then he pops a bit of cloth into his mouth; it's damp, so it'll give him some moisture on the trip, to prevent a dry throat that could lead to a cough that would give them away; it's also something to bite down on in case the trip gets rough and bumpy, to keep him from crying out.

Bemused at how things have worked out, the young ranger settles in for the trip, eager and excited to be on an adventurous outing at last. 'Adventure', his father said to him once, 'is what happens when things go wrong'. So far at least, things seem to be going OK.

Jarret looks at the crowded wagon, then sighs and climbs in. As he settles down, he begins silently reciting prayers and precepts of Chenet as a way of distracting himself. There's nothing like pondering a religious conundrum to while away the hours.

"we should all make sure to have a supply of water handy. We will need it before our journey is done." With that Jairik pulls out one of his waterskins and sets it on his lap.
