(Adventure) Heroes of The Vesper Peaks (Uriel judging)

Jagos looks horrified at Asen as this happens. "Wha, whats, whats going on?" he tries to ask him and looks around to his companions to see if this is something one of them has done.

After Asen has fallen Jagos prods him with his boot to see if he is truly unconscious. "What do you think happend to him?" he asks the others. "Is he becoming like one of the miners you think? If that could happen with him just walking around up here..." Jagos continues, not spelling out his worry that the same could happen to them.

"So what do we do now? We know nothing of this place, but it seems we must find some shelter on our own. Unless... Kreepto do you know of any place where we could hide?"

Nace holds up his hands to Jagos. "I didn't do anything to him, no..." The youth frowns as the observes the man's fit, then collapse. "I have no idea; it could be. Maybe he just went mad like the others."

Quick listen check

Need 18+:[dice] Jagos is too excited to hear anything.

ooc: I'll post more later, I'll just give others a chance to reply first.

Kunst looks at the collapsed man and says "it appears the man needed a bit of rest, perhaps the floor is not such a good place for him to be sleeping."

Jarret checks Asen over to ensure that he's going to be okay. Jagos, please stop prodding the poor man. Can the rest of you give me a hand lifting him up onto the wagon bed so that I can check him out? Jarret tries to determine whether Asen's ailment seems to be a natural ailment or if it's something more sinister.

I heard a lock closing off in that direction. Should someone who is more stealthy that I am go see what's being locked?

Brooding in dark thoughts, it takes some time as Jagos stares at Nace with empty eyes before nodding his acknowledgement to the statement.

"Yeah, sure, sorry, you do that." Jagos responds to those concerned for Asen, still somewhat chocked since he fell.

Jagos takes a deep breath with closed eyes, trying to calm down somewhat."Damn, I hope not. Fits though. With his sudden hostility and all."

"I'll do that!" Jagos hastens to say, eager for anything that will take him away for some time. He hurries of a few steps before remembering to move silently, heading in the direction Jarret indicated while getting his thoughts lined up. He tries to look around for anyone else in the room as he walks.

CCamfield:
After following the man (the grid is in 10 foot squares, not 5 feet, so it's actually a bit farther than you thought I guess), you reach the cave entrance. The white robed man is now out of sight, somewhere within the cavern most likely. You can see two guards wearing yellow scarves around their necks. They are in complete full-plate armor, and appear to be armed with glaives, longswords, shortswords, daggers, and a number of mannacles with keys along their belts.

It does not appear that they are aware of you. You are 5 feet outside of the cavern, on the left of the cave. The first guard is along the side nearest you, about 7 and a half feet away. The other guard is across at the other end of the cavern entrance, about 17.5 feet away.

Everyone Else:

In response to the question, Kreepto replies, "Derm... Kreepto thinks that we would be safest in the north-east towers. No guards there, because nobody can reach that tower from the outside. Kreepto has went there many nights, when Kreepto was pushed out of the barracks by the miners."

After putting Asen down as comfortably as possible, bulky armor and all, examination reveals that he has blisters all over his feat and up his legs. Some of these blisters are open, and full of sand and soot. Removing some of his armor reveals that his body has depressions from the weaight of it all over, and he looks as though he had been sweating heavily within the suit. His sudden outburst is in question, but it is fairly obvious that this man has been exhausted completely of his own reserves.

Grog:
You smell a faint odor of manuer in the air that wasn't in the room a moment ago. There is also a sign of some form of glittery-dust on Asen's shoulders.

Jagos:
Jagos approaches the doorway leading outside of the structure, I assume, and you can see that the rest of the building is almost barren except for unmarked crates and barrels all across this floor (some stacked over twelve feet tall). The door leading out is open slightly. There is a small set of heavy stone stairs near the door, these lead up to the next floor, and you can feel the breeze and fresh air coming from the windows on the floor above.

Jagos takes a quick look out of the building, just sticking his head through the door to get his bearings and see if anyone is there. If he sees no immediate threat he slowly goes up the stairs, looking about for anyone on the next floor.
