Jagos tries to disarm Buster of his sword as well, hoping to render the guards defenceless enough to be knocked senseless without anyone dying first.

To see if they can be reasoned with he says "Give up, we are too many for you!" between his strikes.

After being hit by the guard, Grog swings his scimitar again,

Jagos successfully disarms buster. He gives his demands, but Buster seems to act without any impending change in his attitude.

Jaret, with greataxe, (nat 20, nat 19) tries his weapon on the disarmed armored sentry. His axe delivers a crushing blow to the back of his skull, (21 points of damage). The armored guard winces for a second, still standing, grabs the back of his skull. The helmet he was wearing has one huge dent.

A second later, while still grasping his head, the guard drops face first onto the floor.

Jagos takes the brief respite offered by Jaret felling the guard he was facing to look over the battle. The fallen guard looks damn wounded, I hope he's not dead. The one still standing doesn't look much better, what's controlling them must keep them fighting longer than they normaly could, I wonder if they can be taken alive at all. The one who ran from the guards is also seriously injured but at least he's still conscious without being aggressive, seems like a good sign. Grog is also wounded but it doesn't seem too bad.

After making these observations, Jagos will toss aside his rapier, draw his sap, take a 5-foot step towards Arngrim and try to sneak an attack in just under the rim of his helm.

ooc - AC: 14, HP: 6, Attack: +1, Damage: 2d6+1 (subdual)

What's the delay?

Marl leans against a crate and continues clutching at his chest, and says in a somewhat weak voice,

"Come on, Buster... if I can still stand after you hit me with that meataxe, fight it, whatever's controlling you!"

OOC, It wasn't clear to me if the combat was continuing or not... not that Marl can do anything much at the moment.

Kunst moves over to guard the halfling who is clutching his chest, knowing full well the danger he places himself in. Perhaps tomorrow a better selection of spells is in order.

Wanted to let you know that I will be away until the 24th of August. I may be
able to get a post in over the next few days if needed, but I can't guarantee
it. Feel free to NPC or "fade out" Grog - whichever is your preference.
