Marl: You run away from the armored guards. Their speed is hindered, but because of their long human legs then are able to keep pace with your double move. There doesn't appear to be that force holding them back that initially kept them slow within their armor, and the growling coming from both of them is getting louder. As you run forwards, you see two men you don't recognize peering out of the door to the main storage warehouse.

Vanadan and Jagos: As you move the tired wooden door about it's hinges, the noises become much louder. You can both see two heavily armored men running in your direction, weapons drawn high. They seem to be heavily armed, using their halberds right now.

Jagos: ==Listen & Spot Check Result== You can hear the gutteral sounds of the two men, they sound like they are struggling, but they run like they have nothing but passionate desire to attack. What you spot is that they are not running after YOU, but a short little man headed in your general direction.

"They're chasing someone...", Jagos half tells those next to him, half mutters to himself.

Seeing his chance to get some more information on what's going on here, Jagos tries to get things organised. He turns first to those still remaining in the storeroom. Trying to keep his voice from rising needlessly loud, he tells them: "We need some help here!"

He steps out of the building, making sure the escapee sees him and tries to wave for him to come here, before going back inside.

Adressing everyone who has gotten there, Jagos tells them about the situation and his plan: "Two guards, probarbly affected by whatever makes people so aggressive, are chasing some dwarf or halfling or something over here. I hope they will follow him right in here, where we can ambush them."

"Grog and Wogar, you stand on each side of the door, out of sight; and attack the guards when they come in. Nace, you're responsible for the fleeing one, make sure he doesn't get away or pull off any trick on us. The rest of us will stand aside so we won't be seen and do what we can to assist the half-orcs once the trap is sprung. Any problems?"

ooc: How do we consider Wogar? If he isn't along, exchange Wogar for Nace and Nace for Jagos in the plan.

Marl makes a beeline for the open door. (OOC, I don't know if he needs to tumble again, but he'll do so if he needs to duck their halberds) Assuming he makes it back to the warehouse, as he runs in, he yells,

"Close the door!"

Grog stations himself next to the open door as Jagos told
him to. He readies his scimitar and waits for his opportunity
to strike.

"That wouldn't delay them long! We must deal with them." He replies to Marl's request.

Jagos stands away from the door to a side, out of sight to anyone outside the door until the guards enter. Assuming they do, he charges one of them, trying to stay out of the threatened area of the other, and strikes a two-handed strike with his rapier, aimed at the guards weapon, trying to disarm him.

ooc: opposed attack check: [d20+1(Str)+4(Imp.Disarm)+4(twohanded)+2(charge) for me vs d20+guards attackbonus+4(twohanded) for the guard] to disarm him.

If Wogar is not around (so Jagos took the responibility for Marl) he will instead stand in Marl's path to make him stop, eye him carefully and then stay close to him. If Marl engages in the fight, Jagos will do likewise, but still stay next to him.

In any case, all following rounds where Jagos is in combat, He will first try to disarm any armed guard and then sneak attack them to get them unconscious. (Unless they aren't as bloodthirsty as I suspect them to be, of course)

Jaret crouches behind the wagon with Asen in it. He readies his greataxe but will be looking for a chance to disable his opponents rather than killing them. If the more martial types manage to keep their opponents engaged, he will spotaneously cast heal spells as needed.

Kunst readies the arcane energies for a grease spell in his mind, hoping to catch one of the incoming folks off guard and slip them up a bit.

OOC: ready action to cast grease on the boots of a guard that rushes into the room

OOC, I'm a little confused by the delay... has Creamsteak been waiting for everyone to post something, including myself? I was expecting something about the guards actually charging in and then an actual declaration that "combat is starting". Sorry if that was wrong...

Marl replies to Jagos, "Look, I don't know who you people are, but don't kill them unless you have to. They're under some kind of spell!"

He then turns back towards the door and readies his darts for throwing at the legs of the first guard to enter.
