(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

Tandi, listening to this half-wit messenger, had had enough, her internal self-control working overtime. "Listen, you just said that the dragon would eat grimlocks when he was too lazy to go after human maidens, but then you said Sykhia was the first. So which is it?"

Anton shakes his head, "That dragon was a good dragon. It was a shame we had no choice but to kill it."

ooc: We are travelling, right?

"Ah, what I said is I think it did, miss. I actually am not sure at all. You know the legends that build around dragons, aye?"

(OOC: I thought you guys were, but there was dissent so I didn't put any ** saying that you were. If I either find an internet connection this weekend or get back and there isn't any more dissent, I'd be glad to move on ;))

Tandi is visibly incensed, her pace quickening. "Don't argue semantics with me, messenger. Legend or no legend, we may have killed an innocent being and some of us have a hard time believing that half of what you and yours say is truth and not convenient...half-truths." She stops for a moment, clenching her fists and looking at her companions. "My apologies to my friends," Tandi half-whispers as she falls back into the traveling line.

Anton shakes his head, "There is nothing we could have done to prevent it, Tandi. We are victims of circumstance. And, similarly, people like this messenger are victims of ignorance."

Thurgan Hammer, Dwarven Craftsman

Thurgan listened to the conversation, letting the others decide the situation. He had made his desires known, to go get the treasure and get out of there, but he would abide by the decision of the group. He figured there would be more fighting anyway if they headed after Larue.
