"Whatcha talkin' abou', there Cade, is it?" Thurgan asked.
"There've been some raids and missing women and children here. We were soon to be heading out to deal with the orcs who were doin' it, but it appears ya've beeten us too it." Cade says. "The duke sent someone ta look into matters here, he's stayin' in town hall with the mayor."

Anton is a tallish gentleman with a lot of clothes--well, so it seems. He wears a thick brown shirt and an oversized cloak. His hair is hidden under a very large hat, and a bow hangs on his shoulder. His frame is strong, but it is not overly obvious. Anton holds out a hand, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Thurgan. I am Anton Brandovold." He looks to the women, "I hope you are all well, at least for now. If you wish to be taken elsewhere, possibly to start your life in an area you are more accustomed to, I will offer my services to accompany you. The mayor here, though, is a generous man and I think you will like him."

Krug steps in. His armor is torn and unkempt, and his hair is scraggly and his beard goes off all over the place. There is a sour smell about him, possibly from not having a bath and having all sorts of alchol spewed on his clothes. He carries a crossbow, holding it cautiiously to him. He smiles at the group, revealing a rather uneven series of teeth.

"Krug Stormhammer I be," he says.

"Dealt with 'em alright," Thurgan replied. "Very well, I guess it's off ta see the mayor . . ."

"Greetin's there Anton," Thurgan replied. "Looks like that's where we're headin' anyway."

Thurgan looked to where the others were leading and headed toward meeting the mayor of Briarton . . . and others.

Scun skulks near the back of the group, his hood obscuring his features. He is roughly human sized, but stocky and one can hear that he is wearing metal armor under his cloak.

Tandi, more tired than she had planned to be, made her way to get dressed and ready to go downstairs to meet the rest of the group. She was curious at first when she didn't see any of them and even more so with the looks of the current patrons being served noon meals. Shaking her head clear she heads outside.

Seeing the group, she approaches. Tandi comes up next to the rest of them, listening to the conversation as she stands there. Her simple grey hakama and wraptop are lined with black. They are loose enough to move in, but you can still see her trained body lines. Her long black hair is let down, except for a pair of tiny braids on either side of her head. They seem to lead your eyes to hers, a deep ocean blue. Slung over her shoulder is a cloak and a backpack. Looking closer, you can see that she has daggers of varying types strapped to her body. She stands relaxed, but poised to pounce if necessary.

Sorry guys, but thank you for the patience. After some heavy swearing and booting salespeoples heads, I have returned....

*The group shows the dwarves the way to towards the town hall, where Lena comes to meet them on the way.*

"Oh, how wonderful! You boys brought the captured women back--did you defeat the orcs?"

"Me 'n Krug killed some orc - 'bout fifteen er so of 'em," Thurgan replied to the woman. "Don' know if'n that wus all of 'em . . . jus' all we coul' find."

Thurgan looked to one of the others to identify who this woman was.

"Fifteen you say? That's even more than we thought were there, so that's probably all of them, hopefully."
Thurgan shrugged, with a raised eyebrow and a look of "I don't know - not my field" sort of thing. "You'd be?" Thurgan asked the woman. He idlely picked at a small slice in his jacket that an orc axe had cut open. With one hand he was unknowningly working the leather bits with some skill.
