Hmm. I better show my face and see if these dwarves are rabid orc-haters before things get too far along.

Scun makes sure the area is clear of children before pulling back his hood to reveal his half-orc countenance. He gives a toothy smile and takes a step or two forward.

In his gravelly voice, "I am Scun. Well met Thurgan. Well met Krug."

He offers his hand in friendship.

Anton smiles, "The hobgoblins were fierce opponents--at least, there was one who was very powerful. I think we would be happy to recruit your help if you would join us, Krug and Thurgan."
"Wouldn't min' . . . but, I'm s'posed ta hook up with a group down here . . . Dagummit and someone else sent me. Got a letter an ever'thin'," Thurgan said looking over the group that had seemed to assemble before his eyes. Thurgan wiped off his hand and reached into his pocket to review the note on the descriptions of everyone to see if there was a match.

Thurgan:

*The descriptions do indeed seem to match. One would assume that the recently-introduced half-orc could even be the 'bad Scun' to which the little girl Laynie was referring.*[/SBLOCK]

Thurgan returned with a solid grip and said, "Scun . . . Scun, yeah I heard 'o you." Thurgan released his grip and looked to everyone.

"Looks like dis's da group I wus lookin' fer," Thurgan offered. He was about to say more, then clamped his mouth shut.

"You've heard from Dagummit and Laynie? How is the little one doin'? I promised I'd help give her a home when we returned, but I'm beginnin' ta worry that might be much longer than I'd hoped."

"Good, good . . . she 'n a furball were eatin' like kings' inna restaurant when I left," Thurgan replied. "Dagummit was sleepin' on his feet, 'a think Joe tossed 'em inna room 'fer a left there."

"Good, good to hear. I feel... responsable for her some how." says Cade.

Anton nods, "She should be well-taken care of. She is one of Halina's fruits."

Tandi nods, smiling inside when she hears Laynie is safe and sound. "I'm glad to know the little one is safe as well. Thank you for your report Thurgan. I suppose I shall introduce myself as well. My name is Tandi. Tandi d'Lune. A pleasure to meet you both." She then makes a humble and respectful bow.
