OOC: glad I asked about the map, I had a misconception about the layout.

If A'jardin can get behind Dagummit with 30' or less of movement and an orc is within 25':
A'jardin moves to interpose Daggumit between himself and the nearer group of orcs after muttering a quick incantation and firing a stream of tiny ice crystals at one of the orcs.

If A'jardin can't get behind Dagummit with a 30' move:
Panicing at being wounded and closest to the orcs, A'jardin sprints toward Somac and attempts to hide behind his large ally.

If A'jardin can get behind Dagummit with 30' or less of movement, but the nearest orc is more than 25' away:
A'jardin moves to interpose Daggumit between himself and the nearer group of orcs, then prepares to cast a spell when an orc moves within range.

OOC: Ray of Frost is a touch attack (at +1 to hit) which deals 1d3 damage, no save, allows Spell Resistance. If he's in range, the preferred target is the orc who threw the axe that hit A'jardin.

(OOC: Yeah, I thought you did from your proposed action ;) No worries :))

*A'jardin, barely out of range to freeze an orc with his frigid cantrip, backs carefully behind Dagummit, following the time-honoured wizardly tradition of using armoured dwarves as human shields. In preparation for the orcish charge he predicts as inevitable, he prepares to shoot forth a chilling ray as soon as an orc comes in range.*

*The two monsters continue to bleed profusely, slipping nearer to death.*

*Anton, expecting newcomers, shoots at one of the orcs, but the arrow clangs off against its chain mail to hit the ground harmlessly.*

*Scun uses his magically-enhanced movement to not only move 10 feet closer to the orcs than Dagummit but also set his spear against a charge, strategically taking a position that would allow him to block all possible straight-line paths that any of the orcs could take to reach the straight-line cluster of Dagummit, A'jardin, and Anton.*

*Roaring a battlecry, the orcs begin a frenzied charge, heedless of Scun's tactical placement with his spear.*

*Two charge at Scun, enraged and ready to teach this upstart half-blood a lesson, but the well-prepared cleric impales the first orc on his spear, taking the momentum out of the attack, though the orc survives to try again. Meanwhile, however, the second orc takes advantage of the opening provided by its comrade's misfortune, cutting a deep gash into across Scun's abdomen with his orc-made greataxe.*

*One charges Dagummit, slicing through the dwarf's substantial armour to deal a massive blow with his massive axe, but not enough to drop the stocky dwarf.*

*Another charges Rillian with a bloodcurdling howl, but the nimble human sidesteps, preparing a counterattack.*

*The final two orcs come after Cade, who manages to avoid one of the charging orcs only to manoeuvre into the other's attack. Unfortunately, lacking the fortitude to withstand the blow, Cade collapses unconscious.*

(OOC:

Both renders fail to stabilise and lose 1 hp.

Anton mentioned "anything else that may be coming" so I took the liberty of having him shoot an orc.

Dagummit takes 11 damage.

Scun takes 14 damage.

Cade takes 17 damage (lucky roll for the orc).

Tandi's turn again.)

OOC: Apparently Cade's "Happy Dance" did not bode well for a combat maneuver. ;)BTW, did I get my AoO for the orcs charging me with a reach weapon? They have to move out of a threatened space unless they two have a reach weapon.

(OOC: Cade missed on an AoO against the orc that missed him (which I looked up and realised I didn't mention very well) and then, lacking Combat Reflexes, the other orc didn't need to worry about one)

Cade will bleed (At the moment he has a huge skill bonus to do that being at -5 HP) but attempt to stabilize. Alton will attempt to defend his master from the orcs.

Alton:
Attack: Bite +3 melee (1d6+3)
Full Attack: Bite +3 melee (1d6+3)
Trip (Ex): A dog that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+1 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the dog.

OOC: Cool, just making sure. I could have been important :)

(OOC: Oh, I was going to have Alton carry Cade's body (still in the saddle) to safety, but if Cade would have trained him to keep fighting, then we can do that too...hmmm...7000)

OOC: Oh, I figured I'd fallen out of the saddle, otherwise, yes, he'll try to get me to safety.

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

Somac rushes to Scun and takes a great swing at whatever orc is harassing him. He hopes to keep the cleric alive long enough to heal the "good" grey beast and the fallen members of the party.

ooc: yep, thanks. next time, take the liberty of dealing damage too. ;) to not on him!

Anton, dodging the arrows flying towards him, sends an arrow at the orcs and yells in giant, then undercommon, then common, "What is your business here? We have no quarrel with you!"
