OOC: I thought that technicaly, since all this stuff is sort of simultanious, he could fall to -10 in a round and still be healed in that round. It's more a personal interpritation of how time functions on my part, but it could allow someone a chance at life :) Of course, I may still bleed to death, but I've go a somewhat better chance being only now at -6. Shame I didn't train Alton how to heal ;)
(OOC: I checked the PH just in case, and it is very clear. Once you hit -10 hit points, you are immediately dead with no further chance of recovery)

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

Somac feels a great pain of sadness move through him at the plight of his fallen comrades. Choking back a sob, he rushes toward the orcs threatening A'Jardin, and swings a vengeful blow at one of them.

*Somac charges the orc that felled Anton, attacking with frenzied power once more, and once again felling his target with a single blow, which takes off the unfortunate humanoid's arm.*

(OOC:
Somac Power Attacks again (because with +10 to hit, why not?) dealing 28 damage!

Dagummit's turn. Can he finish off his orc before it finishes him?)

ooc: Rystil, i dont know if Scun would take the risk, but it occurs to me that Rillian's almost dying occurred after Scun stated what his action would be, but before he actually acted. Therefor, if you really want to be nice, you could give him a chance to change his action. (Though I will understand if he doesnt do so, but remember even a 1 pt cantrip saves Rillian's life).

I'm sure gonna try. I'm just going to do a normal attack.

ooc: Just to give my favorite char a chance, careful research appears to show the following - by SRD "A dying character loses 1 hit point every round. This continues until the character dies or becomes stable (see below)." This does not specify WHEN in the round he loses the hit point. If it must be on his turn, there is no reason why he cannot Delay his turn, and act (ie DIE), at the end of the round. Seems like there is some room for DM interpretation here. TY, and Please :D

OOC: I've seen your survival roll in the Hivemind thread, you managed to make it (Rystil did it on Invisable castle), so you're stable at -9 :)

(OOC: Actually, Scun's turn is after Rillian's but before the orcs, but this isn't so (I actually thought about this myself when thinking of ways to save Rillian). Eventually, as Bront stated, I just gave up and rolled it, with this amusing name Rillian's Inevitable Demise.

Hurray!)

*Dagummit slashes at the orc with his trusty dwarven waraxe, the dwarfmade weapon striking true as it cuts a huge gash through the maddened orc, but it is not enough to finish him off.*

*Alton moves to a safe spot with Cade, who is still bleeding.*

*Rillian manages to keep his entrails inside his body--perhaps he is still alive.*

*Anton continues to bleed profusely.*

(OOC:
Dagummit hits for a maxed out 13 damage!
Cade is now at -7
Rillian stabilises at -9!
Anton loses around hit point.

Scun's turn, followed by A'jardin's Magic Missile and then the orcs)
