*Somac wants to make sure he can at least injure this orc, especially since it already took damage, so he makes his final attack carefully, and it hits, dealing a crippling blow to the orc's neck, but somehow, the orc survives, angry and ready to kill someone before it goes down.*

*Dagummit's dwarven fortitude proves strong, as he stops bleeding.*

*Cade drops down to critical conditions--he will almost certainly die next round if not healed.*

*Anton manages to stabilise, safe and sound.*

*Scun bleeds some more.*

(OOC:

Somac hits for 16 damage.

Daggumit gets a lucky break and stabilises without losing any HP.

Cade is at -9

Anton is stabliised at -4, and our superneutral judge boos and hisses.

Scun is down to -3.

A'jardin's turn!)

(OOC:

Scun actually does have a potion--excellent idea! Wake him and he can wand.

Somac's turn now.)
ooc: Yep, that was my intent when I bought the potion in addition to the wand. I forgot to tell the party about that though. :o

OOC:
[sblock]Remember what I said about this thread taking off sometimes? Sheesh. But I like the quick updating. :) Still at -3 to hit if the readied action goes off, and I doubt I can pull it off twice in a row. But the orc might not know that! While improved from 3.0, 3.5 readying is still pretty cheap against a single opponent. (You can just keep doing it with no real penalty)[/sblock]

A'jardin edges back toward Scun's position while lining up his shot and calls out to the orc in goblin You have no hope against my big friend here, but we will let you live if you leave now. and in common Somac, let him go if he tries to leave A'jardin holds his aim, ready to fire if the orc attacks.

(OOC: I try to not let myself be the limiting factor unless I'm at work--so I'll post everything possible up to the first PC that hasn't given an action :))

*A'jardin prepares his crossbow for an attack.*

*The orc snarls, not understanding Goblin, and attacks Somac again, hoping futilely to finish the big barbarian off--especially since the orc sees signs of weariness and realises that soon Somac will be fatigued.*

*A'jardin's shot flies astray as the orc swings its axe, but in its overconfidence it makes an amateurish and undeniably awful slash that misses Somac completely and almost throws it off-balance.*

(OOC:

A'jardin misses.

Orc gets a Natural 1, but not a fumble.

Tandi's turn next, and Somac's rage wears off just before his turn which is after Tandi.)

Thinking quickly, Tandi rummages through Scun's belongings looking for a healing potion of some sort. Come on, where are you? There has to be just enough to revive him.

She hopes that she can wake him in time to help the others.

*Tandi manages to locate a potion and pour it down the bleeding half-orc's throat. Scun's eyes flutter as he wakes up.*

*Somac's wrath flees his body, leaving him weakened and tired with the adrenaline gone.*
(OOC:

8 hit points back for Scun. Nice roll.

Somac's turn. Beating on the orc, right?

Then the unconscious characters go, (Bront may want to take a look at this)

)
