"Anton, want to give me a hand?" Cade asks, and then heads off to gather some supplies to chase after the hobgoblins.

"Yes, I may assist you." Anton stands and tips his hat toward the mayor, "I hope we are indeed able to help you and thank you for the cooperation." He turns around and follows Cade.

"No need to thank me," Mayor Lucas insists, "I'm the one who thanks you deeply for your aid."

*Tandi follows Lena as the young woman heads to some of the nearby farmers, requesting that they lend their horses to the group of heroes who are going to rid the town of the looming threat once and for all, indicating Tandi as one of them. Though a few of the farmers express their incredulity that a lithe-looking girl like Tandi would be able to handle the brutish goblinkin, Lena reassures them, and they are eventually able to secure six horses.*

*Cade and Anton head out to find supplies.*

(OOC: What supplies would you like to purchase?)

Tandi follows Lena with the horses back to the rest of the group. "The farmers were most generous in giving us their horses. We should be on our way soon."

Cade intends to try to procure a few days rations for them and the steeds, a large quantity of rope, any extra saddle bags they can spare, and a few extra waterskins. Other than the rations, he intends to return anything they want back when they are done. Unless Anton can think of anything more that is needed.

(OOC: Okey dokey, you can deduct the standard cost for those items from your gold--times are tough here, and prices are actually higher, but they are giving you a discount)

After acquiring the rations, Anton was content with the supplies.

*While everyone was out getting the supplies and the horses and notifying the other party members, Mayor Lucas has finished with Rillian's mandate idea, having produced a big oversized scroll for a ceremonial signing from each person in the group, as well as little personal parchments for the group to carry.*

"Everything all set," he asks, "I've called a town meeting where we'll have a little ceremony--I'll try to keep it short, and then we won't keep you any longer. Thank you for helping restore hope to our town."

OOC: Well, I only have 5 gold on me, so we're kind of hard up if you're expecting me to pay it all. Obvisouly, we should be able to get some of it back (like the bags and such).
