"We do not have overly much here at the moment," Mayor Lucas admıts, "As we are trying to help those who have lost their homes, and then the hobgoblins...But even so, I am sure we can spare whatever you might need if you would be kind enough to help us, great heroes."

(OOC: Shadow--Have a fun trip! I`m writing from Turkey, so sounds like our trips coincide. There shouldn`t be too much NPCing needed. As for killing, while I can`t make promises per se, I will at least promise not to have you charge a wererat wielding a polearm or anything of the sort (little LPNN side joke) :))

"If you can spare us horses, that would be more than enough. I agree, let us proceed to hunt these hobgoblins, and also make sure that the orc threat is ended, or at least postponed."

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

"Yes, horses are the most important thing. Without them, we have little hope of keeping up with the hobgoblins. Perhaps you can have them brought to us, and we can set to work..."

OOC: I'll be offline for a few days (we're moving!).

Anton cocks his head and thinks, "That is a good point, Somac, but it seems like that may require a lot of horses. We do not necessarily have to catch up to the hobgoblins. Although, if there are horses to spare, that is the better option."

I'm alive!! I mean, I'm back.

Tandi nods in agreement with the rest of her group. "Yes, horses would be best for us in keeping with our schedule."

ooc: :) Welcome back, Shadow. Rystil's been spotty at best, anyway, though.

*Mayor Lucas taps his fingertips together nervously, considering how many horses his town could afford to spare for a chase and perhaps lose if things went wrong.*

"Could three or four horses be enough? Perhaps you could double up?"

"I think that might put us at too much of a disadvantage. But I understand that your village has been raided, both violently by orcs, and under threat of violence by those hobgoblins, and that you can ill afford to throw good money after bad. How about we give you the value of the extra 3 horses in coin, and then when we return, we can exchange all the horses for the return of our gold?"

"I guess that could work, Sir Rillian, although the money wouldn't really be staying with me. What I'll need to do is search among the town's farmers until I can find enough horses for you from among those they have available. Actually, if you have the money and you want me to try now, I can have Lena do that for you right now."
