[sblock=stun + reaction]I'll explain my earlier post better in case there is confusion: my Fort was raised to 22 by my 2nd wind (and the spirit companion) until the start of my turn. Since Ryda went before me, her attack triggering the stun went off before my turn.

As much as I would almost prefer to be stunned rather than waste all my resources, there you go.

Additionally, I would like to have used Warden's Grasp on the first bird guy who hit, and drag him 1 away from Jarren and somewhat toward me (so to U17 I think?). I think that's fairly reasonable as I wanted to get them closer but without even knowing they could do bonus damage while flanking, I would have wanted to keep them from flanking.

I think this only would have changed the bonus CA damage, tho, since they both critted.

Nevermind, if Jarren moved to Z14 then he's out of my range.

Also, I am assuming the owlbear got CA because of the stun, and not the crows, right?[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Sorry, but I'm a little confused. The map for this turn has Jarren at V14, getting flanked and spanked by the Kenku, but last turn I moved 4 squares to Z14 (specifically trying to get out of range of the incoming pincer). I don't see any forced movement abilities getting used on him or anything like that. Am I missing something?[/sblock]

[sblock=tactics]Wow, those birds can move 7 as well! Well they have the mobility advantage here.

Jarren, 16 wants you to heal yourself - don't worry about him, he's got a tiny bit of self-healing left. Once that's gone, it doesn't really matter anyway.

At this point I'm not sure what our best plan is: it's going to take a while to kill the owlbear (especially since 16 has missed for about 60 damage so far), but it can do massive damage each round. Even only hitting me once a round, I can't last too much longer. But, we need to drop those crow guys too pretty soon or they will eat us up (especially if they keep rolling crits!). Ideas?[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Actually, with a movement of 7 I think they can flank you at Z14 just as easily, and down there my Grasp won't work. :) Nm on my reaction then![/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]God point Bob. Was hoping they had a move of 6 when I made that call, and wasn't thinking about your Nature's Grasp. Sucks. I should have kept my mouth shut. :p Ah well!

Anyhow, my thinking is, the situation isn't too desperate yet. The Kenku roughed Jarren up pretty bad last turn, but it's unlikely that they'll get quite that lucky again. He can use Razorclaw Shifting now that he's bloodied (which gives an AC increase), and between the regen from Flood, a Healing Spirit (with secondary healing and temp HP for U16) and a Second Wind, Jarren can be looking healthy again this turn and will still have the 10 hp burst in reserve for a future emergency.

Plus, he can blow an Action Point and call his Spirit Companion back to use Certain Threat and hopefully tank one of the Kenku for a bit.

The Owlbear must surely be hurting by now, I say we keep up the pressure. Jarren can handle the Kenku safely for at least another round or two.[/sblock]

Ignore the Stun 16, we'll use your last set of actions. I was a bit distracted with the boys. The birds did have movement 7 unfortunately for you. I'm updating the post right now.

Edit: all done

[sblock=OOC/tactics]Since Jarren seems confident that he can last a round or 2, I'll continue focusing on the owlbear unless there's objections. I'll probably post my action this afternoon sometime. If you want Ryda to move someplace specific, nows your chance since I'll have ~10 squares to move around.[/sblock]
