Adventure: Into the Wild

Ashir listens as the others discuss the fey greater powers, their natural way of being, the arcane power that infuses their home and grants them their tremendous power, even the removal of Severus' head. Ashir has a moment of prescience. "Wait. What powers are greater than even the fey lords and ladies?..." the genasi asks excitedly. Waiting a moment to let the question hang. "The gods of course, surely the clergy of Daunton would know of a way to defeat a fey creature, even if they don't I'm sure their stores of knowledge would contain some clues. Dayna, Peresefa, or Mireva seem the logical choices to contact" he finishes.

Well, Haruka's got Arcana covered & Dante's got Nature, so let's try religion - religion (1d20+12=27) Ashir's got a great average with knowledge checks :)

"You forget the one reaps all deaths, Firelord. Lauto. Lauto takes the toll of all beings eventually, even Fey Lords. Using divine power against Severus's arcane may be our best chance of success."

[sblock=ooc] I didn't see the purpose of another religion check, but I'll make one if you think it appropriate Mal [/sblock]

[sblock=AP Bravura Presence]

Bravura Presence

When an ally I see spends an action point to take another action to use it as an attack, the ally can choose to take advantage of this feature before the attack roll. If the ally chooses to do so and the attack hit, the ally can choose to make a basic attack or a move action as a free action after the AP action. If the AP attack misses, the ally grants CA to all enemies TENT.

After deliberations, the heroes decide that the best thing to do would be to find a weapon that is anathema to the Fey Lord of Eagle's Reach and use it to kill him. Severus seems to be aligned with air, eagles, hunting and for some reason devils. There's gotta be something to work with in there. They visit the Daunton Library fllowing their brainstorming.

It turns out after some additional reading that killing a true Fey Lord is a major undertaking. A Fey Lord of Severus caliber is truly a minor deity. It'll take more than a nifty magic sword to put him down. It will take an artefact of significant power. Of course, all of the well known artefacts are already in the hands of creatures who are even harder to defeat than Ethan Severus so... yeah.

The best starting point to solve this conundrum is the Island of the Forgotten, where Hecate's oracles contemplate history and oblivion. The problem now is finding a captain willing to take adventurers to the Valley. It is remote, the seas are treacherous and the island is unreachable through portals by designs.

OOC: You are bout to travel on a ship. If anyone has spare money and wants to purchase something appropriate, knock yourself out. I will look over our PCs over the next day then I will drown a PC or two.

[sblock=ooc] update for gear: I bought a holy symbol +1 to improve my distance paladin abilities. THB pointed out there was a separate spot for holy symbols... [/sblock]

Ashir stares at the ship, an ominous feeling falls upon him as he watches the crew prepare the vessel for travel. The genasi shrugs it off, knowing that whatever misgivings he has are minor compared to the great victory they may claim if their group can defeat Severus.
