Adventure: Into the Wild

[sblock=ooc] Back from vacation, better internet now. Thanks for the loot and xp Mal. I'll submit an updated level 2 character sheet, likely tomorrow. [/sblock]

Renquist dons the new platemail slowly and purposefully, offering a prayer while attaching each piece of armor. The ancient, beaten black platemail he was wearing almost doesn't appear fit to wear anymore. Following this, he wraps his black traveling cloak around him once more.

He turns and bows deep to the fey dragons, offering an old blessing

[sblock=Old Allerian] May the sun rise each day to find health and good fortune at your door. May the moon rise each night with safety and family at your side. A thousand blessings on your sons and daughters, so they may return that happiness to you. [/sblock]

He then turns to his companions, "Have our new friends heard of the missing adventurers or know of any Fey lords that may be of help finding them?"

[sblock=OOC]Damn, time has been in short supply lately. And even this weekend flew by with a charity golf tournament (not for celebrities, you can be sure of that! ;) ) and visiting condos.

I think I'll keept it simple and send you toward that Ethan Severus who deals with devils. That'll make Dante happy. Update tomorrow.

PS: Cool blessing, Fourmonos.

OOC: Sorry for the long absence, I'm back to semi-regular posting. I'll update Nementah over the week. That totem wouldn't be superior, would it?

"We're looking for some missing adventurers that were taken to Arcadia through rogue portal. In our search we got a hint that there were eagles involved. It's not clear whether real, heraldic or just location name, just eagles. Can you guide us?"

ooc: Just a warning, the "sblock" seems to be broken, can't open and read what might be hidden, so it might be worth just typing out your ooc moments.

Mal, here is the CB file for Renquist level 2. I will update his wiki page when I get a chance tonight.

OOC: To view the contents of a bugged sblock, just hit the Quote button on the message that contains the sblock and you can read it in the quote reply. Annoying, but it works until they can fix it.

OOC Nemantah: Sure, the totem is whatever type of superior implement you use. As long as the enchantment does not change, I am not too concerned about the 'vessel'. Same goes for arms and armor; axes becomes waraxes and finechainmail becomes drakescale on demand. Wee!

-''Eagles? Ethan Severus, Lord of Hunters, is also known as Lord of Eagle's reach.'' says the female dragon. ''Perhaps he is involved after all. He is powerful, though. Be wary. He would destroy you if you engaged him directly. I suggest you discreetly ask for your missing adventurers in Talon's Edge, the second largest town of the Severus' Domain. Be wary of his patrols and spies, but if you are subtle you might find people who oppose him. Enemies of my enemies... Outside of asking Severus himself, these resistant are the best source of information on what happens in that domain.''

OOC: This might be a reach, but the weapon you gave me is a level 2 Spiked Chain. On my wishlist is a different level 2 Spiked Chain. Any chance I could replace the Vicious with the Farbond? If not, it's cool I'll just sell the Vicious to buy a Farbond after this adventure.

OOC: Nah, I don't check much wish list because I like some randomness. (If this were a home game there'd be a portion of randomly generated treasures!) But don't sell it at the first chance; Isn't there a ritual to tranfer/modify enchantment? I could swear I read something along these lines.

"We thank you. How can we call on you again? Announce us?"

After the answer

"We go now. Thank you for your help."

Later to Rocco:
"Was that butchery neccessary? We already defeated them. Why mutilate the bodies? Nature will take care of them."

OOC: There's a ritual to move an enchantment from one item to another, i.e. move the enchantment from my Vicious Spiked Chain to a Greatsword or what have you. I guess I could just see how much money I have saved up at the end of this adventure, maybe I can use some DM credits and go straight to a +2 Farbond Spiked Chain.
