Protecting Strike vs Will (Goliath; Goon in O4); damage (1d20+7=21, 1d20+7=17, 1d8+5=12) - Rocco, Ibram and Renquist get 4 temporary hit points - sorry about double attack roll - I started writing blast and didn't delete the goon; use the roll to kill it with the blast

Move: shift to N4
Minor: re-summon Primera to V15

Primera had been disrupted by that archer who shot her out of the sky last timethe bad guys acted (that's where your damage come from, in case you hadn't noticed).

So you had to resummon her before Protecting strike which would have meant you couldn't resummon Primera at V15 (no more actions).

Move: Shift
Minor: resummon
Standard: Protective strike
AP: daily

It's hard for me to judge which would have been more important to you between performing the protective strike or maximizing the daily. I am going to guess that granting 12 thp to the sleeping beauties squad was more important than helping the strangers who are wide awake and looking fine (especially since the horned beast was a goner anyway and you were only really adding the Shardmonster in the daily). So Primera is at N4 in the air.
[/sblock]

[sblock=Ibram]After precise calculation, he did need to use AP to kill the Goliath. He used the free move to return in the ranks.[/sblock]

[sblock=Rocco]Noticed you were missing the XP from previous fight.[/sblock]

The Goliath shouts in pain as his fleash is seared. He violently slams his club into the magma beast. The Shard Monster relocates to a safer position and bombard Haruka and Ashir with psychic energy, partially blinding them.

The archers let loose a volley but the intended target avoid any harm.

The Sword Mage gets into the thick of things and blast repeatevly the heroes whith arcane energies, managing serious damge despite the primal armor.

The vicious scimitar wielding maniacs jump on the chance to drive their weapons into helpless preys. Dante and Ibram are in dire straits.

OOC: Anyone still up got the ability to grant saves? If not, this could be a quick round of everyone just rolling their saves.

Save (1d20=20)

Awakening suddenly, Rocco looks up, shaking from rage.
"As I said, you'll regret this, swordsman. You better surrender now."

Stoically he bears another attack by the arcane sword wielder

OOC: [MENTION=87106]MetaVoid[/MENTION], you can use your standard to grant saving throw (Heal skill) to someone

Mal, I rolled a 1 for the inspiring word for Max in my last action post, but if you want to give me a 6, that would be great :)

I felt guilty so I had to tell you

and see everyone...I wasn't the last to post this time

Max looks at the goliath in amazement after witnessing the magma beast viciously attack the goliath from behind. Whoa buddy...don't hit me! Max shouts at the firey beast as he swings his mighty longsword once more at the the goliath, connecting with a blow that brings the foe close to death.

[sblock=actions]

ooc: does the goliath take 5 on-going fire damage? If so, max's attack and the fire damage should drop him at the beginning of next round.

You assumed I'd require you to swap the implement? Nah, not in a PbP where it could take months before you see a shop and spend the ridiculous amount required to transfert enchantment. You got the feat, you got a rod, knock yourself out.

Why yes, that is what I assumed. Thanks for having that not be the case. Now, to put that +2 damage with fire attacks to good use...[/sblock]

"Oh no you don't," Haruka snarls as the mirrored creature begins to retreat. Heedless of danger she follows, black smoke billowing over her form like a cloak. She stops when the creature reforms in her vision and flashes it a predatory smile. "Really, there is nowhere you can run that I can't find you." Haruka levels her rod and fires several blazing darts directly into her target.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Move to S11, retain concealment.
Standard: Hellish Rebuke the Shard Monster. Hits Reflex 27 for 13 fire damage, 4 untyped, and 13 more fire damage if Haruka takes damage before the end of her next turn.

ren, it would be super-cool if you could kill that goliath. I think I might need those thp.[/sblock]
