I'd say that confirms these are the one's we're expecting . . .
Ruarc takes a few quick steps to get up to speed and makes a prodigious leap to the top of the wall just beside the gate. He quickly takes stock of the situation and prepares to enter melee.
Seeing the men approach, Mari remains still until they pass and then slips a hand to her pouch. She takes a sip of rum and spills a little for her spirit companion and extends her will to call him.
"Come have a little taste of rum and join me for some fun," she says too softly for any but Elurin to hear. The leaves rustle and a breeze begins to build just behind the men at the gate as the Spirit takes shape.
Faustus moves up and readies his big, nasty weapon.

The druid ignores the bird that he had enthralled and moves closer as he regains his humanoid form while the bandits are talking. After the bandits show their aggressiveness, he gestures with his staff, carefully drawing the shape of a wing in the air with the point; as his drawing connects to itself a flaming feathery form shoots from the staff striking at the archer,the half-elf calls out
"Toss that and my pet bites!"
As Scorpius opens the door there's a howl of wind from inside, a gale that knocks over chairs and sends loose parchment flying...along with Ezmerelda, whom it catapults into the air in a wild careening arc that lands her right next to the archer. She grins savagely and draws back a sword that swirls with mist, and leaves a sprinkly trail of frost as it moves.
"Actually, don't bother with the message, my writing's crap anyway."
The bandits are so startled by the adventurer's appearance that Ruarc, Scorpius and Mari are all able to take advantage of the situation.
