[Adventure] Kingmaker (DM:renau1g; judge: garyh)

Mari

Hearing moaning ahead, Mari motions for a quiet advance. With a few gestures, a soft incantation and an offering of rum, she calls her spirit companion and consults with it about the strange sight in the Radish patch.

She shakes her head in amusement, "Those boys have some very spicy radishes there."

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger of Lauto

Faustus quietly heft his maul and prepares for action.

OOC: I have just had some computer trouble, and one casualty was my link to Faustus's sheet. renau1g, could you please email the link to me? thanks.

"Careful mates," Ezmerelda cautions under her breath, eyes narrow. "I've never heard tale of kobolds coming in packs less than six, and more's more common still. These four are sluggards, but there could be an army just a squeal away."

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger of Lauto

OOC: Thanks, renau1g! (and Scotley!)

Faustus says, "It goes against my better judgment, but maybe we should fan out a bit? Or at least arrange ourselves in a defensive arc?"

OOC: If you're trying to fan out steathily, a stealth check would be needed, or I guess you can make yourselves heard of course. The kobolds do not appear to have noticed you yet

Elurin ambles, still in beast-form, in a circle about 30' from the kobolds. He is looking for signs of the kobolds passing as well as other kobolds.
OOC: hopefully I can notice things passively before I miss them actively looking

Elurin notices nothing out of the ordinary, well outside of the kobolds.

As Faustus moves not so quietly, one of the kobolds leans over and spots the tiefling. He lets out a high-pitched shriek and leaps to his feet. He stands defensively in front of his radishes.
