Adventure:Land Ho! FWBTHW (DM:H.M.Gimlord,Judge:Ozymandias79)

[sblock=A couple of points]

  1. Riardon still needs to roll 1d6 to determine Rujah's HP bonus from Inspiring Word.
  2. Untying the Dwarf will require a standard action. Not sure you want to blow it just yet, but there you go.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]We'll see how things are at the beginning of next turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=tactics]I can risk an OA to get into position. It can't kill me, and it can't take two shots, since I am only moving 1 square. I think I have to try. So unless anyone opposes, I plan to do that.

WD, I think you should drop your sword for me, but it's up to you. If you've dropped it by the time I post (probably tomorrow morning early), I'll swap swords. But if you don't want to do it, that's cool too. Either way, it should be okay this round, since I can use the minor to pick up your sword and hopefully land a hit for extra damage or use the minor encounter power I have, for up to 4-14 damage (I think). Either way, I plan to drop a world of hurt (IC willing), so everyone plan to eat some negrotic damage next round.

[sblock=tactics]I think I misread the monsters powers. I thought it always gets a double shot. Take the sword... but don't loose it!;)

Be prepared to be targeted by R's Commanders Strike :) (Lets you do one more melee basic attack... with my sword.)

Healing for Rujah (1d6=2)

[sblock=OOC]Invisible Castle, don't fail me now![/sblock]
"Let me at him!" Jin growled as he stepped in between Riardon and Rujah. The boneclaw reached over the boat with it's long arm, but the Ronin ducked in under it's attack. [sblock=mechanics]
Jin moves to G4, triggering OA

Boneclaw Guardian
OA on Jin: 1d20+7=15 MISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eat it BCG. My rolling on IC sucks, even when I roll for you!
[/sblock]"Riardon, switch swords with me. With your blade and my father's blade, either it or I will die this day."

After trading weapons, Jin slashes out with his swords, cutting with expert skill. The ronin snapped his wrists, increasing the speed of the blade and its cutting power. Grinning with satisfaction, Jin pressed the attack, slashing at the giant creature two more times, causing it to spill foul blood in the water.

OOP: 2 questions, first to Tenchuu: no Hunter's quarry? second Q: who was was granted +4 TO HIT from Riardon's warlords favor? also isnt Riardon a tactical warlord? that means AP attacks gets a bonus +1 from Riardon's prescence. OK, that's all, Judge out.

ooc:
Gave it to Rujah, didn't know at this point that Jin would take the risk of an OA. Failure it looks like :( Maybe HMG let's me choose Jin, because he is a striker in striking distance, what was my condition in the post above.

Saw the roll, but he hit an 18. Tactical bonus + CA is still 1 to few (AC is 22) If he got my power bonus, all would be hits..

[sblock=WD]I think what Ozymandias79 was getting at was that your Tactical Presence AP bonus is +1 (not +3). Tactical Presence states that your bonus is equal to half your Intelligence modifier rounded down.[/sblock]

[sblock=Judge] Sorry I didn't catch that. I wouldn't mind to continuing to allow the +3 bonus until the end of the encounter (Liberté, égalité, DMé and all that if it's OK with you). After that we'll go legal.[/sblock]

[sblock=HMG]I think outstanding still is WD's question of can he change the target of his +4 TO HIT from Riardon's warlords favor now that he knows Jin was a valid target (before he didn't think I'd risk the OAs to get close enough).

If not, I totally understand, but I think that was his question. The +1 to +3 makes no difference on my hits/misses, but the +4 would. Obviously, I want you to pitty poor Jin who apparently must be blind at the rate he's hitting, but more so I want to you rule in the way you think is fairest.

Besides, I have the utmost faith you will avoid TPK. Right? RIGHT!?!!? :-S

OOP: HMG, Sure go for it! Tenchuu, even if jaws of the wolf attack misses the sunblade still deals radiant damage on the half damage. Also WD wrote that he chose the one could do the most damage(in range) and that is almost always the dual wielding ranger, so I give my support for Riardon changing the target if the to hit bonus to Jin but you are the DM so you decide and I support whatever decision you make.

[sblock=WF on Jin]Alright by me. This means that Jin hits with all 4 attacks (+2 CA and +2 WF. With the AP it's +2 CA and +3 TP). Jin needs to roll 1d8+2 for damage on his fourth attack. So far that's 58 points of damage as I calculate.[/sblock]
