From Riardon's vantage point, he is unable to make out any traps, but then again, he is not terribly close to the door.
As the group debates what to do, the doors swing outward revealing a large antechamber dimly lit by torches. Stairs rise up on three sides leading to a stage on which stands a large, lifelike statue of a green dragon carved from marbled granite. To either side of the dragon in front, stand statues of granite depicting winged sentinels wielding swords.
Behind the statue of the dragon is a large, red tapestry, draping from floor to ceiling in billowing folds, depicting a forest scene of ruins overgrown with vegetation.
Before the stage is an alter of sorts, and on the alter rest the charred remains of a hapless human, about in his mid thirties, by the look of him. The stench of burned flesh billows out toward the group as they gape in disgust, possibly horror. The body is burned badly, and its blood paints the altar as well as the floor around it.
In addition, there is a hideous gash that cuts the body cleanly in two across the mid-seciton as if some large beast had done so in a single bite. Large three-toed footprints lead up the stairs from behind the alter and though the tapestry that is also spattered with blood.
All of this, the party takes in at once, and it nearly distracts them from the cause of the opening doors. Three reptilian figures issue forth from the doorway, carrying wicked-looking pikes. A fourth hangs back on the stage, its hands sparking with electric energy.
At first Riardon gets the impression that the floor within the room is moving, but it becomes quickly apparent that the floor is actually covered with rats. In their midst a fifth kobold smiles and pets the furry vermin as they crawl over and around its body.
[sblock=Riardon]You notice that the approaching kobolds are picking their steps carefully, but you can't discern a definite pattern.[/sblock][sblock=Map]

Brazers: Creatures moving into or beginning their turn in a square occupied by a brazer takes 1d6 fire damage
Statues: Creatures can move into squares not completely occupied by a statue. The statue grants cover to creatures from some attacks. Draw a line from all four corners of the attacking square to the center of the target square. If any of the lines pass through a portion of the statue, the statue grants the target cover. Creatures must squeeze to get between a statue and a wall if the statue occupies a square adjacent to the wall.
Stairs: Medium creatures on the stairs grant combat advantage
Half-Wall: There are two half-walls one either side of the stage (O45-P45 and O48-P48). These walls grant cover to attacks in the same way as the statues and require 2 squares of movement if a creature wishes to climb over them.
Altar: The altar is difficult terrain
Curtain: The curtain blocks line of sight and superior cover and total concealment against between creatures on opposite sides.
Ceiling: The ceiling is twenty feet high.[/sblock][sblock=Status]Fenwick:
