I doubt participating in the ritual counts as resting. If Bellegon can get 15 hp above his normal surge value he spends 2 surges, otherwise 3

In that case you are better off spending 3. I'd have to use both Healing Word and Inspiring Word and would have to roll 15 on 4d6 or else you are still short hit points and we could end up not getting that second short rest to recharge them.

Let's plan on healing up with what resources we currently have and then starting the ritual. Hopefully we'll have the 10 minutes to do both, but I think 15 is pushing it.

OK, spending 3 surges, leaving me with one. From the ritual I can do with one surge, but preferably 2 (so total of three, just in case) - part of my tactics inlcude running into melee, but I can do without if need be.

The group take a moment to rest and finish to determine their strategy.

[SBLOCK=OOC]It seems you will go for a single short rest and the ritual (and yes, doing a ritual is not considering resting).

So the only thing I need to know is how you will spread your 15 HS (16 minus 1 for the ritual).[/SBLOCK]

Furniture are difficult movement.

Tree and Stone fire pit squares cannot be entered.

Well is difficult movement and if you don't jump or fly over it, you will fall into it

There is only 3 windows on the ground floor, at M2, L10 and D5. There is a lot much more on the upper level.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Stats]Bellegon: HP 52/55; THP 0; HS 1/7; AP 1; Bloodied;
Deimos: HP 48/48; THP 0; HS 1/8; AP 1;
Ghourra: HP 52/52; THP 0; HS 4/10; AP 1;
Mythra: HP 46/46; THP 0; HS 4/9; AP 2;
Vander: HP 35/35; THP 0; HS 0/7; AP 1; Werewolf Moon Frenzy Stage 1

Owlbear: HP 11; THP 0

Zelgar: HP 47/47; THP 0; HS 6/9; AC 20; F 18; R 17; W 18; Werewolf Moon Frenzy Stage 1[/SBLOCK]

OOC: How does this work for everyone? It leaves Zelgar with most of his while giving Deimos one extra for his owlbear companion.

[sblock=Surges]Bellegon: HS 2/7
Deimos: HS 3/8
Ghourra: HS 2/10
Mythra: HS 2/9
Vander: HS 2/7

Owlbear: HP 11; THP 0

Zelgar: HP 47/47; THP 0; HS 4/9; AC 20; F 18; R 17; W 18; Werewolf Moon Frenzy Stage 1[/sblock]

I would give Mythra one of Zelgars, his summonings costs surges too, don't they? If not, I wouldn't mind if that surge goes to Vander or Bellegon or Ghourra /(in that order unless players object) - we'll be in melee more then Zelgar and he really doesn't need any extras, if he needs 4 surges, we're not doing our job properly

OOC: Mythra is out of daily summons, owlbear takes 1 HS to summon.

So if Mythra could have 2 surges (1 for a heal 1 for an extra owlbear) it would be great :)
