"I do think we should check outside. If nothing else, Priam's still out there and I'd like to make sure he's ok. As for the swords, I wouldn't toss them in the river, but I don't think we need to take them with us. We still have to figure out how to add wine to water, or was it the other way around?"

I only haven't mentioned what it said IC because I'm not sure what to make of it myself yet, and Talkrai's still concerned about helping injured/endangered companions. Although she noticed the nature thing, it's not at the front of her mind to mention it at the moment. What we find if we return to the surface may change that.[/sblock]

It's then that Pis realizes the worst of the news... the river stole his hat! After checking he crown for the prized hat, he sighs sadly. moments later he reaches into his vest and pulls out a new hat. His new hat is thinner brimmed and has only one feather, this one an actual peacock feather. He grins at Ryda. "Now I am ready."

As Pis’s preens himself and carefully arranges his hat, Ryda slides over to Talkrai, and makes a motion toward Pis, “50 GP says I can put an arrow through that hat and not draw blood. Eh? You game?” she playfully asks.

"If your aim was as good as your talk," Pis says with an impish grin, "You could peirce the eye from twenty paces..." He gestures to the eye at the end of the peacock feather. His tone is playful, not demeaning.

He jingles his pursestrings, "I'll take the bet, but after we've seen the camp."

Ryda barks out a deep belly laugh, “You want me to shoot the arrow with my bow? HA, I was just going to walk over and snatch the hat off your head, and stick an arrow in it. It’s easier money for me that way.” She says with a sly grin, “But since I’ve just told my secret, I guess I’ll let you keep your 50gp.” Winking and Unit 16, she puts on a more serious expression as the group makes ready to head back.
