[Adventure] Lost Love (DM: Velmont - Judge: Renau1g)

[sblock=ooc]Just trying to make sure everyone has a chance to respond before I push us too fast! :) I hadn't thought about putting the bodies in the acid - I was just going to kick them into the river if it came up. Your idea is much cleaner, though. :)[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Just maintaining the silent role here. I didn't really think the bowl was big enough to fit a body, but I suppose you could lower them in a piece at a time. That seems overly gruesome. Of course, my impression could have been wrong.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]hence my question about if we think the acid can only boil XXX amount of stuff before it neutralizes itself. If we could stuff so much stuff in that it’s less damaging, we can reach in and not lose an arm. Though, for those characters with tender stomachs, I think we should try and scoop out the acid first.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]When it comes to magically enchanted acid, I would guess there's no limit to what it can dissolve. :) Practically speaking, though - no clue.

twils: I just figured I'd pour water in until it starts to spill out. At that point, there shouldn't be any more acid (I'm guessing) and then we can test it with some dead guy's sword.[/sblock]

Unit 16 scoop a sixth time water in the bowl, without any change to the behavior of the bowl.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Yeah, it always have been full and it has never spilled since you start to put water in it. The water seems to be absorb by the bowl somehow.[/SBLOCK]

As Unit 16 continues his water pouring repetitions, Ryda’s patience wears thin. I’m heading over to the bowl and the fallen warforged, she calls out, mostly for the intruders so they are not caught unawares. Slinging her bow over her shoulder, she calmly walks to the shut down warforged and removes his shield. As she does so, a wonder worms its way into her head, a wonder whether or not this one will forever be shutdown. She had heard they cannot really die except from overwhelming damage, and this one didn’t look that beat up, but if no one ever healed him, would he lay there forever, waiting? Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she heads over to the bowl of acid, motioning for any over there to give her room.

After waiting for Jarren, Unit 16, and Talkrai to give her the requested space, she takes the smaller end of the shield, dips it into the acid, and carefully flicks it forward toward the water. She makes sure to watch the fluid levels in the bowl, as well as how quickly the acid has an effect on the shield in relation to her previous arrow test. She flicks the acid out of the bowl a few more times, making sure to not get any on herself or her companions, and then drops the shield into the corner of the room.

[sblock=Mechanics]Ending move location is G32. Basic goal is to see if she can remove the acid, if it has any effect on the water, how it effects the acid level in the bowl, and to see if it’s been diluted at all. NOTE: this is all based on her party members moving to give her room, if they stay put, she won’t bother, since Jarren/Unit 16 are directly in the probable spray zone.[/sblock]
