The cleric walks up to Botha.

"Excuse me, Botha. Have you seen the ladies who were with us yesterday?

If he says no, then Charlarn will ask if Kim is around.

Botha

Botha looks up, a somewhat annoyed expression on his face. It takes him a few moments to remember the cleric. "Oh hello. No. I haven't seen either of the ladies. Ran off on ya, eh? And Mr. Tensil? Oh, he's off...er...attending to business. He's a busy man, you know. He'll be by today at some point. Always drops by to check at least once a day."

"Let's wait. In the meantime, if we have to go looking for Irene and Jezibel, any ideas where we might find them?

"Most likely when we parted, one of the Guild's scouts followed them to the One Eyed Owl and surprised them there. They might be trying to hide from the assassins, or from the law. Or they might have ended up in jail -- we've learned "how that can happen in this town. Then again, I hate to say this but it's a possibility, they might have lost."
Nurlan figures his meaning is clear enough without mentioning death by name.

"Do we know if Jezibel knew anyone in town? I can't remember. Perhaps they went to our original destination for the goblin bounty. The town hall, if I recall."

"Perhaps we ought to start looking for information on these thieves. I mean any recent information on them might contain clues as to the where-abouts of Jezibel and Irene. Seems a little odd for Irene just to take off like that. I think that this guild is most likely involved." says Tenebrynn.

"Absolutely," says Nurlan. "But I think it's best we wait for Kim. In order to look around, we're going to have to be making a lot of inquiries. If we're going to have to ask lots of local people questions in this city where we're strangers, I'd like to begin with the only local person I trust. After all, he does clearly know something of this guild."

"Good point. We wait then I guess. Just feels like we aren't doing anything, if you know what I mean." Tenebrynn says, agreeing with his friend.

"Well, if the problem is just to do something, we could always sing. I know, it won't bring us any closer to finding our friends, or defeating our newfound sworn enemies -- or" (he hesitates, having nearly forgotten what brought them to Monemvassia in the first place) "killing any more goblins. But at least it may keep our spirits up. Charlarn, would you like to get your pipes out?"

OOC: we ought to decide OOC how long we're going to wait. If nothing happens by a certain time -- no Kim, no Irene or Jezibel, no unwelcome surprise visitors -- our characters will decide we need to go out and look for them. How long a wait until they're likely to decide that?
