Hasifar tries to climb up at once. If he is successful, he'll peek out, and play his mind trick again. "Well at least these are not as smelly as those fat green thingies ha?" he says, as he assaults the creatures with a wink.

Athletics: 17 and 3
If the first is a go, then he will use his standard action to shoot a Chaos bolt vs I21:
19 vs will for 16 dmg

VV, you keep going WAY ahead of your turn. Hence the reason Tirial wasn't there for your "grab" in round 2.

It's Boruuk's turn at the end of round 2.

Then round 3 with Tirial, then Artemus, then South group, then East group, then Hasifar.

Round 1 Hasifar rolled a 5 and a 12.
Round 2 Hasifar rolled a 5 and a 15.
Round 3 Hasifar rolled a 17 (the 3 is not necessary).

You can keep these round 3 rolls, but please wait for your turn, or at least close to your turn. It gets confusing if people are rolling round 3 rolls in round 2.

OOC: Sorry, can't know if I will be around when its Hasifar turn, so I post ahead of time just in case, to not hold anyone waiting. If you prefer that way, I'll comply.

[sblock=VV]
I'm not sure whether you'll be around or not, but you seem to be on most every day, so I think you should be ok. For example, your early round 2 post yesterday probably could have been posted today once we got to that part of the inits. You seem to be a day ahead of the rest of us.

I have no issue with people posting ahead of time if they know they will not be around, it's only sensible. But if you think that you are going to be around, it makes sense to wait until it is either your turn or close to your turn. Otherwise, your action might become illegal, and then we'll just have to wait for you anyway.

If you know that you need to post ahead of time, go for it. Life happens. Just let us know that you are doing it in the Action/OOC sblock so that people do not get confused on whose turn it is and so that I know what's going on.

Thanks.

PS. Typically, most PBP games seem have all of the monsters going on the same init. I did that for the first 3 encounters, but I wanted to see if splitting them up a little created a lot of problems or whether it goes ok. I try to look at the boards every few hours so that I can update monster actions if needed. So, I think that any delays waiting for other players shouldn't be much more problematic than in most PBP games. We'll have to see. If it becomes an issue, I'll go back to monsters go, PCs go, etc.

Well, it's Knoepf's turn now.

Knoepf really cannot see anyone up there. I'd say that he could heal anyone standing in square J12.

Course, he has been partially successful with his climb, so if he makes a partial check with either of his two climb checks, he'll still have a minor left over to heal. His main problem is that Hasifar is still in the way.

Knoepf pushes Hasifar again with all of his might. "Here we go Hasifar..arggghh!" The grunt seems to help. As Boruuk reaches down with the rope, Knoepf sees his hand out of the corner of his eye. He closes his eyes and says a prayer. Silver light flows through the goliath, much to his delight.

The group at the west change target to Tirial as well. Their behavior seems almost scripted. The mound of rock behind her protects Tirial from one of the rocks, but the other skeleton gets in a powerful lucky shot to her shoulder that brings tears to her eyes.

[sblock=OOC]
Artemus OAs J21 for 9 and L20 for 8.
Boruuk holds the rope and does a Second Wind.
Knoepf tries to help Hasifar climb (note: areas do not go around corners, so Knoepf can only heal into the one square he has line of effect to, J12, his Healing Word will not resolve yet), also Knoepf has a move action remaining, so he can try a climb check if he wants
H6 misses Tirial.
J6 hits Tirial for 16.

West group: H6 (15), J6 (9)
Tirial 13/45, bloodied
Artemus 10/39, bloodied
South group: O13 (16), O15
East group: I21, J21 (9), L20 (17), M20
Hasifar 41/41
North group: E12, E14
Boruuk 30/51
Knoepf 40/40

North is up on the map. The PCs cannot see beyond any square at the edges which does not have a number in it.

It's Tirial's turn.
