[Adventure] Murder Most Foul! (Judge: EvolutionKB)

With a massive blow, Boruuk drops yet another skeleton.

[sblock=Next]
J6 is now dead.

It's Knoepf's turn. Tirial and Artemus can go as well since it is unlikely that Knoepf will affect their actions too much.

Artemus, having stay out of sight, just walk into the melee and stab the nearest skeleton, piercing his armor and giving him a serious wound.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Move: Walk to E19
Minor: Adaptable Flanker
Standard: Riposte Strike vs AC; M20 (1d20+13=21, 1d4+5+2d8+4=25) Now we are talking... That doesn't include concealment penalty, as I have Low-Light Vision and I am not sure if it cancel it or not. So I hit AC 21 (less concealment penalty) for 25 damages.

If M20 attack me (I still have CA because of Adaptable Flanker)
Free: Riposte (1d20+13=22, 1d4+5=8)[/SBLOCK]

Seeing Artemus ready to move to aid Boruuk, Tirial moves to the edge of the area and reaches into her pack, pulls out a rope, and throws it down to Hasifar "Alright, grab on" she calls.

That's a single move action (even though it is two rolls, 2 squares movement with the first rolls, an attempt at 2 squares more for the second). Knoepf has a Standard action remaining.

Course, he's getting pretty high now. A missed roll could tumble him down for a lot of damage. He might want to do a Readied Action to climb with a rope when one shows up. Or, he could risk it.

Sorry guys. I totally missed Velmont's last post, so I was waiting for him to post. My bad. I'll post here this evening.

Boruuk slashes at the approaching skeleton, but his attack is foiled as he steps backwards and slips on a loose piece of stone.

After dodging the blow the goliath turns his attention to the more battered looking skeleton. With a battlecry he swings his axe with abandon and the blow is devestating. He then quickly retreats another step backwards.

"A little more help please!" Boruuk calls out

I21 misses Boruuk, but M20 hits Artemus in the shin.

Artemus just barely hits M20 again with his follow up blow.

Boruuk hits J6 for 23 damage and kills it. Boruuk than shifts away.
Knoepf climbs up a bit more.
Tirial moves to the edge and drops a rope for Hasifar.
Artemus comes around the corner and hits M20 for 11, Boruuk is too far away for Adaptable Flanker. Artemus also does not get Combat Advantage for him being in concealment himself (the skeleton sees him just fine).
I21 moves up to Boruuk and misses him.
M20 turns to attack Artemus and hits him for 3.
Artemus hits M20 with his Riposte for 8.

J6 (49), dead
Tirial 45/45
Artemus 24/39
East group: I21 (16), concealment, M20 (19), concealment
Hasifar 37/41, +1 to AC
North group: E14 (18), concealment
Boruuk 13/51, bloodied
Knoepf 26/40

It's Hasifar's turn.

Because of the rope, both Hasifar and Knoepf get +5 to Climb rolls for totals of +6. If they make a DC 10, they move up one square (2" of moving) and can keep rolling. If they get below 10, they do not fall, but that particular Move Action is complete. So for example, if Hasifar makes 6 DC 10 rolls in a row (12 movement which would take up all of his movement and two Move Actions), he would be at the top. Knoepf only has to make 2 such rolls. He might be able to do this with a single Move Action and still have a Standard Action remaining at the top.

"C'mon guys, climb up!" Tirial calls down.

[sblock=ooc]
I'm assuming that Tirial needs to continue to hold the rope for the benefits to apply? As an FYI for my adventure, stonegod has a few points I need to address and I'll be ready to go sooner. Just need to re-jig the story a bit to better fit the setting. [/sblock]
