[Adventure] Murder Most Foul! (Judge: EvolutionKB)

"I sorry Tirial, but my powers are for healing purposes only. It...is the path that I've sworn an oath to follow. It is one I must follow...even in times such as this. We must somehow reach the top or at least get Artemus out of harms way and regroup." Knoepf says with great concern for Artemus shown all over his face and in the tone of his voice.

Tirial stands, fires a pair of shots at her foe, but they are inaccurate.

"Sorry Artemus!" Tirial calls up, "Knopef, Hasifar, can't you guys blast them, they're all together!" she adds, dropping low again

Artemus inflict a serious cut to the most badly injured skeleton before trying to get out of that place.

The skeletons swarm Artemus. Two miss, but one hits him hard in the chest. Things are looking grim for Artemus.

[sblock=OOC]
Note: Since Tirial could not see skeleton O13, I assumed that she would quarry and target the most wounded skeleton that she could see, J21.

Tirial hits J21 for 19 and then misses J21.
Artemus criticals O13 for 12, but does not drop it.
Artemus shifts to K20.
O13 moves to K21 where Artemus was.
O13 misses Artemus.
Artemus misses O13 with his riposte.
O15 misses Artemus.
I21 cannot reach Artemus. It delays.
J21 hits Artemus for 10.

J6 (26), bloodied
Tirial 45/45, prone
Artemus 4/39, marked by J21, bloodied
South group: O13 (44), bloodied, O15
East group: I21 (16), J21 (28), quarried, bloodied, M20
Hasifar 37/41, +2 to defenses TSNT
North group: E12, E14
Boruuk 30/51
Knoepf 26/40

Knoepf and Hasifar can only see J21, O15, and O13.

Tirial can only see J21, O15, O13 (cover bonus), and M20 (cover bonus, she is further back from the base of the slope, so she can barely see with cover into the second squares above).

Boruuk can only see E12 and E14.

It's Hasifar's turn.
[/sblock]

"I'm on it pretty face!" rallies Hasifar, and shoots a glance at the skeletons.

[sblock=Actions]
Chaos Bolt vs J21. Misses but is an even. Not sure if the other attacks apply, if so, it hits the other two guys for 9 and 10.
Roll Lookup[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Chaos Bolt secondary attack apply only on a HIT. Also, you character sheet doesn't tell that DragonFrost push 1 square on a hit. You might want to add that.[/SBLOCK]

One more skeleton attacks Artemus, its sword screeching off of Artemus' armor, but not inflicting any damage.

"I'm on it pretty face!" rallies Hasifar, and shoots a glance at the skeletons.

But Hasifar's blast misses.

E12 and E14 move to attack Boruuk. The first misses, but the second connects solidly to Boruuk's knee.

[sblock=OOC]
Note: I forgot M20 vs. Artemus. This actually occurred on M20's turn.

M20 just barely misses Artemus.
Hasifar misses J21.
E12 and E14 see Boruuk and move to attack him. Both of them have concealment from Boruuk in the dark with +2 to their defenses.
E12 misses.
E14 hits Boruuk for 8.

Boruuk finally has foes within reach and swings his axe with reckless abandon in the dim light, hoping to catch something with his wild swings.

Regaining his composure after the flurry of blows, the goliath launches one powerful blow at the skeleton to his east.

Move: n/a
Standard: Sweeping Blow - vs ac (E12, E14); dmg (1d20+12=20, 1d20+12=16, 1d12+7=12) so I kept the same rolls as the last attack that I couldn't make. Are bursts affected by concealment? I don't think so, but if they are subtract 2 from the above to hit rolls
AP: Brash Strike on E12 - vs ac(E14); dmg (1d20+10=22, 1d12+11=23) Incl. -2 from concealment - hits AC 22 for 23 damage and I grant CA to E14 TENT

Knoepf tries to climb slope to get a better view. "Agghhh...it's no use!" Mumbling a short prayer and then pointing his staff at the direction of the skeleton mob, one of them begins to glow a silver hue. "Ha Haa! If at first ya don't succeed, try again! That's what my father taught my anyway." Turning to Tirial "Tirial, aim for another skeleton besides the glowing one." Back to Artemus. "Hit it now Artemus and feel the healing warmth of the silver flame!"

J6 moves in closer.

Knoepf and Hasifar can only see J21, O15, O13 (cover bonus), and J6.

Tirial can only see J21, O15, J6, (cover bonus), O13 (superior cover bonus), M20 (superior cover bonus), and I21 (superior cover bonus, she is further back from the base of the slope, so she can barely see with cover into the second squares above).

Boruuk can only see E12 and E14.

Note: I had to go back and re-calculate who could and could not be seen. It's tougher than it looks in 3D. The general rule is that if a partial square is in the way, then the creature has cover. If an entire square (i.e. second rank) is in the way, then the creature has superior cover. Some creatures are easier to see if the PCs move. I didn't bother with a map since J6 is the only creature to move.

It's Tirial's turn.

Tirial stands up, "Boruuk! Where in Kyhber are you? Artemus needs help!" she shouts, firing off a pair of well placed arrows to provide what cover she can.
