the party can hear the shout from the tunnel.

His head pokes out of the waterfall
"C'mon! Or we'll be late for the fun! They'll get the warning, prepare, take the orb and leave traps or ambushes, everything we do not want!"

Vermitrax turns his head, to listen to Drew. His eyes widen by the urge, and he sprints quickly into the cave.

"Tchaaa..." hisses Gellan as the wizard rushes ahead. "Yes, it seems so." He dashes in as well, his tan'gat held low.

Drews head retreats
"I didn't expect you to lead, mage. You must really dislike this Vlad. Or you really want the orb."

Seeing others coming, he dashes away again, slowing only moments before going out into the open to peek behind the bend.

Vermitrax sports a grim grin, but says nothing on the subject. His staff hold by both hands encompass his movement. He pokes the tip in the ground when he reaches the bend, and closes his eyes for a moment, still grinning.

Stay back! The necromancer joined forces with the evil wizard, the voices told me so! Sharpe says, surprisingly seriously.

He then turns to Vermitrax. You know, it would be nice if you two had offer for me to join, we have compatible alignments after all. Very rude if you ask me!

Vermitrax leans forward on his staff, rising a mocking eyebrow. "Reaaaally? "The voices" you say? Did they explain why, if such thing is true would I kill Vlastodes minions? Or steal their magical items? No? Why would I venture in their hideout if they 'already' had the bloody orb? No?" After the mockery, Vermitrax assumes his stoical features again. "I thought so." he says, ending the issue dryly.

Minions are a dime a dozen, you can buy them at any evil supply store.

The magic item makes you more powerful, duh! That way you can better betray us.

And the big bad evil guy is probably hiding in his magic waterfall lair with the orb that we were suppose to get. And you were grinning evilly because you were going to betray us and turn us into your undead minions.

Not that becoming undead minions itself would not be an interesting experience, but the death part may not be worth it.

And the voices were the voice of the evil wizard when he entered OUR MINDS! he says with capitals with dramatic emphasis. So they know what they are talking about!

So we'll give you a choice. You either betray us now and go running to your master, or we chuck you off the waterfall. Up to you really.
