ooc: sorry MetaVoid. Missed the thievery check.
The white dragon, in a dire state, seeing that his master is moving away from him, smashes its hefty body against the narrow pasaageway. To its surprise, the wall gives way, giving the dragon ample room to follow the bard, much to both of their delight.
After careful study of the pressure plate Drew manages to disarm it by finding a small notch on close to the wall. Carefully sliding his hand he flips a small lever, disabling the plate. It lowers two inches, then stops. Nothing else happens. Ten feet in front of the monk is another set of cracks on opposite sides of the wall, like the first ones the party encountered. Up ahead about a 100 feet is a set of double doors. As the party approaches the doors, the ground begins to swirl. Dust and debris slowly materialize into the shape of humanoid figure. The figure speaks
I AM THE PROTECTOR. NONE SHALL PASS UNLESS YOU SHOW SACRIFICE

The voice of the statue echos down the corridor, then fades away. All is silent. The humaniod figure stands set in stone in front of the party.
