Sheng snaps out of the grab with a complicated twist, moving away from the alligator as part of the tumble. Even as he lands, he outstreches his hand, and curls his fingers like a claw. "Stay there beast!" he proclaims, and from his hand, a spectral claw of green gas shoots to the crocodile, pinning it in place, while the beast debates in a mental struggle.

Stand: Spectral claw encounter power: 19 vs will for 16 psy dmg, and the target is immobilized until the end of Sheng next turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Voda Vosa]You can't shift into P18, it is difficult terrain. Sorry that the only way I can denote NON-difficult terrain is the white shaded areas, but the rest is treacherous swamp[/sblock]

Janus screams jumping around before wrenching his leg out of the beast's vise like jaws. Limping behind his comrades he hunkers down and enters a trance rejuvenating body and mind.

With one of the reptiles moving closer and Sheng standing next to him, Murphy finally has a chance to attack. He draws the shadow of his target into a roughly duplicate of himself standing behind the crocodile. The shadow-Murphy stabs the creature in the back with the bastard sword.

Murphy then steps through Sheng and appears next to the water, his own shadow detaching to harry the beast. The shadow-assassin takes advantage of Murphy's appearance to again stab at the crocodile. Finally, Murphy can throw off the lingering vines and move more freely.
