Tondrek cocks his head to the side. Something about these bugs seemed familiar. Shrugging, he scuttles towards the scuffle, Doggie following and placing itself in a defensive position. Seeing the creature Rhona rushed, Tondrek unloads a crossbow bolt at the nearest flying ant. The bolt pierces the insect's chitinous shell. Doggie takes pride in his master's accuracy, snapping and growling in excitement.

The bloated queen moves forward, and it's leg lashes out the pig in front of her. The goliath pulls back on the reins and the ant stumbles.

The prone soldier ant flips itself over and charges the goliath, coming to the defense of it's queen, but the goliath easily avoids it's snapping mandibles.

Two others in the distance close to the combat, attacking the more vulnurable Olaf. One stumbles as Rohna's magical gloves come into effect, ruining it's strike. The other though grabs the pig's flank, penetrating armor and hide.

The remaining soldier swipes it's mandibles at the spirit of Mitra, and the great bear can't react, but it's spirit nature keep her from harm.

The flying drones take to the air, flying around the debris and the fallen logs. The first closes the distance with Roswyn, it's stinger dripping acid. The gnome can't dodge the quick insect, and she can feel the acid inside eating away. Two of the drones close in on Olaf, flying out of the reach of Mitra. One stinger finds it's mark, but the heavy barding of the hog makes only a pinprick. The final drone flies over the log it's heavy acid stinger pierces the defenses of Venakhad, burning the kalashtar's shoulder, and piercing to the bone. All the drones' fluttering wings allow the ants to escape the group without fear of retaliation.

The water of the stream thrashes as something moves toward the fight. They are insect-like as well, and their black orb-like eyes focus on the lone kalashtar. The cleric meets their gaze, and he feels like he needs to come closer, because the water seems so nice. He fights off the charm of the first, but can't shake off the second, and he walks over to meet the creatures. Both slash out with heavy claws at the cleric. One nearly guts the kalashtar sending him stumbling, the other slashes him at the back of the neck, pulling him into and under the water.

Rohna feels the lack of movement from Olaf and sees the giant pinchers latched into his flank. She whirls Kordestad over her head with both hands in a wide circle several times letting the heavy weapon slide further out of the pattern at several of the ants, but after a solid hit on the Queen her aim is fouled for the others.

She takes another pair of swings at the 2 ants, paying special attention to the one that is grabbing her mount. Gretta snaps at the queen again finding an outstretched limb to sink her glowing obsidian teeth into.

The goliath's eyes widen visibly from the missed attacks, and she begins to set about herself again with the giant hammer as she did on the airship several days before. "Pesky insects! Lets see how well you can stand once I have splintered your shells into dust!"

If all of the marked ants attack Rohna then Gretta will use the Immediate Reaction to bite, otherwise Rohna will hit the most damaged ant that attacks Olaf. I hate dice...thats 4 more rolls under 5.

The cleric meets their gaze, and he feels like he needs to come closer, because the water seems so nice. He fights off the charm of the first and thanks to his dual heritage the second as well. The creatures charge of the water though, one slashes him across the ribs, sending him stumbling, the other's claw brings clamps onto his knee, cutting deeping and sending the cleric crashing to the ground.
