Tondrek follows everyone, humming to himself. When they get to the clearing, he notices everyone looking down. He looks down absently, then seems to focus on a specific set of tracks, the "non"-organic one.

'Forgey! There was 'Forgey-forged here. With lizard party, I guess? Maybe taken or guard or something bad or good? Dunno. Follow, I guess?

I agree that this seems like an ideal time to bring someone in. The problem is actually finding someone. Who would have thought that strikers would be so rare?

One of the missing villagers is named "Hammer", which sounds like a 'forged name.[/sblock]

How the h**l did Tondrek remember Canine Animate Construct Class 4 instead of it being classy doggy? And to get reprimanded by such character...priceless! (cannot give XP to either so...cookies!)

[sblock=OOC]Tondrek is an idiot savant about Arcane Technology (his Arcana is seriously pimped out). If it can be made w/ magic, he knows more than some matermakers. Its about the only thing he can make coherent sort-of sentences out of.

Race of the Five Horns has several strikers and a Controller in it; we're close but its going to be close to a week I'm guessing.[/sblock]

As the adventurers travel farther down the trail, there is a loud snap behind them. It alerts all to the presence of someone following them. Those that turn to face the sound see a half-orc step out, into the open with hands raised.

He wears crude leather armor with rough looking street clothes layered over it. Scars mar his face and cross his arms. He's got a smile on his face, plain as day.

Poking over one shoulder is the handle to a wicked, double headed axe (Carrikal) and a bone handled dagger peeks out from just above his left hip. His hands are well away from the weapons.

"No one else followin' ya an' I mean ya no harm." He looks anyone in the eye that he can as he speaks, hoping someone can guage the truth in his words before they puree him.
