His weapons already drawn in preparation, Rasereit lets out a mighty war cry as he lets loose his fury in the direction of the unfortunate Xorn. "More bloody earth scum! Die!!"

The stalwart dwarf's axes bounced off the Xorn's hide ineffectually (Attack1: 16 +2 =18, Attack2: 18 +2 =20).

Ogrin
ooc: drops to -6 (Stabilization: 39)

The Xorn started its own attack on the party, starting with a retaliatory strike against Nezrak. The grey elf fell swiftly against its stony teeth (Attack1 9 +6 =15, Damage: 11 +2 =13, -9/5). He now lay at the brink of death's door.

The creature then clawed at the remainder of its assailants. Fortunately, it was not able to hit any of them at all. (Attack2: 11 +4 =15, Attack3: 9 +4 =13, Attack4: 11 +4 =15)

Rillian stabbed at the creature but the point of his sword had the same effect as the edges of Rasereit's axes. (7 +3 =10).

Scun's turn

Scun cries out, "Mona, help him! I need to fend this thing off!"

With that, he focuses his might and strikes again with his club.

"I have to save my kinsman first!" replied Mona, who was unaware exactly how badly off Nezrak was.

Though the half-orc was the brawniest in the party, even his powerful strikes did not seem to penetrate the Xorn's natural armor effectively (Attack: 17 +4 =21). Perhaps, it was time for some teamwork.

Chanting a prayer to her patron, Mona lay a softly glowing hand upon the stricken Ogrin. The bite wounds almost fully closed, their only legacy being some remnants of pain and stiffness (healed: 9 hp, 3/6 hp left). With nary a pause, after Ogrin began to stir, she rushed off to Nezrak (currently at S12)

Nezrak:
Somehow and against all odds (Stabilization: 02) , Nezrak's breathing became regularized. They were shallow breaths and his heartbeat was faint, but he remained stable for the time being. Perhaps it was Fate or mayhap, Gliran had taken interest in his follower's welfare. Who knew? What mattered was that he was alive...for now.

Rasereit's turn

Ogrins actions will be to stand up from prone. Upon seeing the monster that bit him, he realises that he does not want it to take another bite out of him and produces his sling.

He will (later rounds) move around to avoid the cover given the monster by his friends. He'll stand about fifteen feet back.

ooc: In my games, crossbows cannot be stored loaded without them firing at random. You have to load them when you're about to use them. I can understand carrying slings with stones already loaded in them. But carrying a crossbow loaded is just dangerous. Sorry. You can change your action if you want.

Rasereit took out the light crossbow and drew back the bowstring, swiftly loading a bolt into its place.

Ogrin stood up and retrieved his sling from his person.

The Xorn took a bite at Scun, but missed. (Attack1: 8 +6 =14) Its claws were also unsuccessful in their attempts to disembowel the half-orc. (Attack2: 4 +4 =8, Attack3: 2 +4 =6, Attack4: 1 +4 =5). Scun's defenses were just too much for the Xorn...for the moment.

Rillian's Turn

Rillian will take the aid another in combat option to help Scun strike the creature (Attack vs AC 10, success means +2 for Scun to hit). "Ogrin, lets both aid Scun."

Rillian succeeded in his attempts to open a hole in the Xorn's defenses.

ooc: Scun has a +2 to hit.

Code:
Round 3:
20 Scun
19 Mona
17 Nezrak
15 Rasereit
14 Ogrin
12 Xorn
04 Rillian
