[Adventure]: The Mark of Trogdor (DM: Dimsdale, Judge ??)

Quan silently circles back and informs the group of the situation.

"Up ahead, in a clearing, are a pack of wolves, one of them quite large. It would waste too much time to go around. Does anyone havve the ability to commune or pacify wild animals? (regarding that, Quan does not) On a related note, these animals may actually be the pets of the ogres and/or giants that are around here. Fighting them may certainly bring their attention."

As Quan reports back to the party, there is no other way to go but north. The question is...what will you do?

Nementah peeks around to see the pack. If no ogre or cave is apparent, she crouches so not to be higher then the wolves and shows herself, trying to look harmless, but not prey.

She conveys to the beasts that the group is not here to disturb or take their kill, just to pass. No fuss. Peace. Calm. She enters her trance communing directly with the spirit of the pack.

Nature with Speak with Spirits (1d20+14+4=32)

If she notices they are willing to let them pass, she motions for the group.
"No threatening moves, don't glare at them, just pass. Whatever else you do don't run."

"I can pacify them alright. But I'd prefer not to since it tends to be permanent." dwarfs mood seems to swing from boisterous to melancholic in few heartbeats. He walks with his head down, arms hanging limply, but still holding his dagger.
 

OOC: Sorry about the map everyone. I believe it is ready to go. I made a copy of a previous map and forgot to change the access settings. It's all good now I think.


OOC: Rocco, I've peeked at your CS. Has it been updated?


The leader of the pack looks up and eyes Nementah, growling in a threatening way. He communicates back.

"The big one says we can pass along the forests edge. Do not try to get closer to them. There are more in the pack close by."

To the wolf: "May your hunting be always plentiful."
She takes Lerrick by the hand and leads them away.

About hundred paces onward: "Phew, we thought it wouldn't be good to fight the whole pack. Wolves are good hunters and we're in a hurry."
 

wiki updated. Not finished with links to XP or anything, but items, powers and stats are correct. Why is Come and Get IT gold on all forums?! It does fairly little damage (no str), needs to hit to pull in and can pull onl yif there is room for that (which is hard to do with large opponents)
