Sir Ishmael continues with his strategy, trying to flank the beasts with Sturm or Rurik then strike. If circumstances do not permit, he will instead strike at the nearest foe.
Rurik will bring his axe down upon the now prone Orc, power attacking (-1 to attack, +1 to damage). If this ends the beast, Rurik will then move 10' toward whichever monk seems most healthy.
His enemies dead, Sir Ishmael retrieves his dropped sling. He wipes Violet clean before stowing her away upon his belt. Also, he looks about the room for anything of interest.
[Wow, you must have rolled a 1 for my damage, then, because with the Power Attack, plus Rurik's Strength bonus, I had about +5 riding on that swing. Want me to roll it next time? ]
Rurik cleans his axe on the robe of Sturm's monk victim, before stowing it away. Frustrated, he mumbles to himself while studying the room.
"Canna' believe we haen't found a sane one yet... Gonna piss on tha' next relic o' Kruggup, 'er whute'er 'n tha hells he's callin' hisself..."
((OOC: I'm back!! ...what did I miss ...ooh Aranel isn't dead. But whats with the constant 10 in Init? ^^;; ))
Aranel sighed and looked around her as best she could, listening watching for anything at all of interest. (Gold...shiny things, weapons...traps enemies ect)
"Telerin..." Aranel trailed off in mid-thought and fell quiet again. She ran a hand through her hair to push it off her face before curling a lock around her finger as she thought. "Do they seem leaderless? Why have none left the monestary unless something told them not to? Surely such wild creatures would bay for fresh blood, and there is plenty past these walls...and yet they don't seem to have made any effort to leave."
Hearing Aranel's words, Telerin found himself looking around the room more carefully. He also kept an arrow drawn as he did his best to motion for Whitefang to come over to him, "I believe," he said quietly, but loud enough for the rest of them to hear, "That we may be in over our heads much farther than I first expected...they must be here for a reason."

A pounding noise becoms suddenly evident once more (as per previous page), some sort of low and constant beat, a drum perhaps...it originates from deeper within the Complex (the door on the other side of the chamber that you are currently in).
"Art any of thee wounded?" Sir Ishmael looks at his companions. "If thou art ready, then let us continue our explorations. This drum incites mine curiosity"
does that include kirin? She never made it on itiative and was hanging back due to complete uselessness... Aside from stabalizing someone down to the negs, there's not much for her to do at this point... speaking of which are there any healing potions left? or healing from the druid?
in the wake of the battle, Kirin enters and looks around. If no one is injured, she will look to see if any of the monks is lingering (don't know if you do the "no negs for bad guys" rule). If so, she will pour a small amount of the holy water she has on the mark on his chest and see what, if anything, happens.
